Abstract
Aplikasi mobile Sampingan merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang berguna sebagai wadah bagi para pencari pekerjaan paruh waktu yang diluncurkan pada tahun 2018. Berdasarkan observasi yang peneliti lakukan terhadap ulasan pengguna di Google Play Store, aplikasi mobile Sampingan merupakan aplikasi yang sangat membantu para pengguna dalam mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan, namun masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dialami sehingga menyulitkan pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi ini. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan pada permasalahan yang dialami pengguna menggunakan metode usability testing dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Aspek usability yang diukur pada penelitian ini sesuai dengan aspek menurut Nielsen (2012) yaitu learnability, efficiency, error, dan satisfaction. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu task scenario dan kuesioner SUS kepada 20 orang pengguna baru, serta wawancara kepada 5 orang pengguna baru dan 5 orang pengguna lama aplikasi mobile Sampingan. Berdasarkan pengambilan data yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil pengukuran aspek learnability sebesar 87%, aspek efficiency didapatkan dari hasil perhitungan time-based efficiency yaitu 0,019 goals/sec dan nilai rata-rata Overall Relative Efficiency (ORE) sebesar 76,3%, ratarata akhir pengukuran aspek error sebesar 7,6%, serta hasil pengukuran aspek satisfaction menggunakan kuesioner SUS yaitu 59,63. Sedangkan pada hasil wawancara ditemukan permasalahan usability sebanyak 17 permasalahan yang akan diberikan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan 23 guidelines yang digunakan.
English Abstract
Sampingan mobile application is an application that is useful as a forum for parttime job seekers launched in 2018. Based on observations by researcher on user reviews on Google Playstore, Sampingan mobile application is an application that is very helpful for users in getting additional income, but there are still some problems experienced that make it difficult for users to use this application. Therefore, it is needs to evaluate and improve the problems experienced by users using the usability testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The usability aspect measured in this study is in accordance with the aspects according to Nielsen (2012), namely learnability, efficiency, error, and satisfaction. The research instruments used were task scenario and SUS questionnaire to 20 new users, and interviews with 5 new users and 5 old users of the Sampingan mobile application. Based on the data collection, the result of the learnability aspect measurement were 87%, the efficiency aspect is obtained from the time-based efficiency calculation, namely 0.019 goals/sec and the average Overall Relative Efficiency (ORE) value is 76.3%, the final measurement of aspect of the error is 7.6%, and the measurement results of the satisfaction aspect using the SUS questionnaire is 59.63. Meanwhile, the result of the interview found 17 usability problems which will be given recommendations for improvement based on the 23 guidelines used.
