Abstract
"Initial Public Offering (IPO) atau penawaran umum perdana merupakan penawaran saham atau obligasi kepada masyarakat umum untuk pertama kalinya. Fenomena yang sering terjadi pada saat Initial Public Offering adalah underpricing. Underpricing merupakan kondisi dimana harga saham di pasar perdana lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan harga saham di pasar sekunder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel terhadap tingkat underpricing di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2016-2019. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Assets (ROA), Earning Per Share (EPS), Umur Perusahaan, Ukuran Perusahaan, dan Persentase Penawaran Saham. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari website resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 160 perusahaan. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 98 perusahaan dan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel data diuji dengan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik seperti uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, autokorelasi, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji F, uji t Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel ROA, EPS, Umur Perusahaan, Ukuran Perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap underpricing. Variabel DER dan Persentase Penawaran Saham tidak berpengaruh terhadap underpercing. Hasil pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa DER, ROA, EPS, Umur Perusahaan, Ukuran Perusahan, dan Persentase Penawaran Saham berpengaruh signifikan terhadap underpricing."
English Abstract
Initial Public Offering (IPO) is an offering of shares or bonds to the general public for the first time. A phenomenon that often occurs during Initial Public Offering is underpricing. Underpricing is a condition where the stock price in the primary market is lower than the stock price in the secondary market. This study aims to determine and explain the effect of variables on the level of underpricing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2019 period. The variables used in this research are Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Assets (ROA), Earning Per Share (EPS), Company Age, Company Size, and Percentage of Share Offering. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study amounted to 160 companies. The research sample amounted to 98 companies and the sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling method. The data samples were tested using classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity tests. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the F test, t test. The results showed that the variables ROA, EPS, Company Age, Firm Size partially had a significant effect on underpricing. DER variable and Share Offering Percentage have no effect on underpercing. Simultaneous test results show that DER, ROA, EPS, Company Age, Company Size, and Percentage of Share Offerings have a significant effect on underpricing.
