Abstract
"Upscale.id merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang telah menerapkan skema work from home sebagai upaya tindak pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19 di Indonesia. Salah satu aspek penting dalam menjalankan kegiatan bekerja dengan skema work from home adalah proses pelaksanaan atau sistem kerja dengan memanfaatkan perangkat berbasis teknologi informasi untuk menjalankan fungsi bisnis operasional Upscale.id. Proses kerja menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis teknologi informasi ini selain dapat memudahkan karyawan untuk melakukan proses kerja juga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam bekerja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi; pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa Upscale.id memanfaatkan berbagai aplikasi dan situs web seperti desktime, slack, trello, dan google drive untuk menjalankan sistem informasi bekerja dengan skema work from home. Sistem kerja Upscale.id saat ini memiliki berbagai permasalahan, diantaranya pengendalian sistem yang lemah menjadikan tingkat keamanan data dalam sistem rendah, selain itu informasi yang disajikan dalam beberapa situs dalam sistem memiliki tingkat keakuratan yang rendah sehingga layanan yang diberikan sistem menjadi kurang maksimal, dan terdapat proses yang dilakukan secara berulang sehingga mengurangi tingkat efisiensi dalam sistem. Permasalahan tersebut menjadi dasar disusunnya kebutuhan akan sistem baru serta diagram konteks, data flow diagram, dan entity relationship diagram. Desain sistem informasi bekerja untuk mendukung proses bekerja dari rumah dapat diimplementasikan Upscale.id sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi pada sistem kerja yang saat ini digunakan, sehingga diharapkan efisiensi dan efektivitas sistem dapat tercapai serta memberikan kemudahan bagi keseluruhan pengguna sistem."
English Abstract
Upscale.id is one of the companies that has implemented a work from home scheme as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. One of the important aspects in work activities with a work from home scheme is the executing process or work system utilizes information technology-based devices to carry out operational business functions of Upscale.id. The work process using this information technology-based information system, in addition to making it easier for employees to carry out work processes, can also increase efficiency and effectiveness at work. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, the data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data which is obtained from the result of interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this research uses the Miles and Huberman model which is included; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on research that’s been done, it is found that Upscale.id utilizes various applications and websites such as DeskTime, Slack, Trello, and google drive to operate a work information system, a work from home scheme. Upscale.id’s current work system has various problems, including weak system control which makes the level of data security in the system low, besides that the information presented on several sites in the system has a low level of accuracy so that the services provided by the system are less than optional, and there is an iterative process that reduces the level of efficiency in the system. These problems became the basis for the preparation of the need for a new system as well as a context diagram, data flow diagram, an entity-relationship diagram. The design of work information system to support the process of working from home can be implemented by Upscale.id as an effort to overcome the problems in the work system that is currently used, with the result that is excepted that the efficiency and effectiveness of the system can be achieved and provide convenience for all the system users
