Abstract
Job stressor merupakan faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan stres kerja. Job burnot merupakan kelelahan kerja secara fisik, emosional, maupun mental yang disebabkan oleh stres kerja yang berkepanjangan. Kedua hal ini dianggap sangat penting karena memiliki keterkaitan dengan kinerja karyawan. Job stressor dan job burnout dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh job stressor terhadap job burnout dan kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksplanasi (explanatory research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan tetap Bidang Administrasi dan Keuangan Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam dengan populasi berjumlah 331 orang dan sampel sebanyak 77 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi Job Stressor (X), Job Burnout (Z), dan Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel job stressor memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel job burnout, variabel job stressor memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan, variabel job burnout memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan, dan variabel job stressor memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan melalui variabel intervening job burnout.
English Abstract
Job stressor are the factors that cause job stress. Job burnout is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. These two variables are very important because they are related with the employee performance. Job stressor and job burnout can influence the employee performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of job stressor on job burnout and employee performance. The type of this research used explanatory research with quantitative approach. The primary data in this study were permanent employees of Administration and Finance Division of Batam Indonesia Free Zone Authority (BIFZA), with population of 331 people and sample of 77 people. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. The variables studied were Job Stressor (X), Job Burnout (Z), and Employee Performance (Y). The Analysis data used descriptive analysis and path analysis. The result of study showed that the job stressor had an influence on the job burnout, the job stressor had an influence on the employee performance, the job burnout had an influence on the employee performance, and the job stressor had an influence on the employee performance through the variable intervening job burnout.
