Abstract

Kepatuhan terhadap pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan yakni penggunaan masker, hand hygiene dan physical distancing diperlukan guna menekan penambahan kasus positif baru dan angka kematian di masa pandemi COVID-19. Kecenderungan seseorang melakukan perilaku dan patuh dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh Health Belief Model dan karakteristik sosiodemografi terhadap tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan masker, hand hygiene dan physical distancing antara pegawai kantor Dinas Koperasi di Kota dan Kabupaten Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analitik komparatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional menggunakan teknik total sampling dari seluruh populasi pegawai kantor Dinas Koperasi di Kota dan Kabupaten Malang dan didapatkan 117 responden. Hasil analisis dengan metode analitik regresi logistik ordinal menunjukkan variabel yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan pegawai kantor Dinas Koperasi di Kota Malang adalah jenis kelamin (bivariat p=0,073; multivariat p=0,030), persepsi keseriusan (bivariat p=0,011; multivariat p=0,002), persepsi manfaat (bivariat p=0,016; multivariat p=0,505), persepsi hambatan (bivariat p=0,004; multivariat p=0,001), efikasi diri (bivariat p=0,019; multivariat p=0,772), dan isyarat bertindak (bivariat p=0,001; multivariat p=0,002). Sedangkan, yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan pegawai kantor Dinas Koperasi Kabupaten Malang adalah persepsi keseriusan (bivariat p=0,018; multivariat p=0,017). Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh Health Belief Model dan karakteristik sosiodemografi terhadap tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan masker, hand hygiene dan physical distancing antara pegawai kantor Dinas Koperasi di Kota dan Kabupaten Malang.

English Abstract

The compliance of preventive measures implementation includes mask usage, hand hygiene and physical distancing are required to suppress new positive cases and mortality rates in the COVID-19 pandemic. Someone’s intention to practice and complies health recommendations could be affected by several factors. This research aimed to investigate the different effects of the Health Belief Model and sociodemographic characteristics on the compliance level of mask usage, hand hygiene and physical distancing among employees in Public Enterprises in Malang City and Regency. This research used comparative analytic with a cross-sectional approach on 117 employees in Public Enterprises in Malang City and Regency. The result of ordinal logistic regression showed that gender (odds ratio=5.84; 95% confidence intervals=1.19 to 28.67), perceived severity (OR=11.91; 95% CIs=2.51 to 56.58), perceived barriers (OR=0.08; 95% CIs=0.02 to 0.34), and cues to action (OR=9.97; 95% CIs=2.32 to 42.79) were associated with the compliance level of employees in Public Enterprises in Malang City. Meanwhile, perceived severity (OR=5.91; 95% CIs=1.38 to 25.34) has a significant relationship with the compliance level of employees in Public Enterprises in Malang Regency. In conclusion, the effects of the Health Belief Model and sociodemographic characteristics on the compliance level of mask usage, hand hygiene and physical distancing differ among employees in Public Enterprises in Malang City and Regency.
