Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan gambaran pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja serta motivasi dan kinerja karyawan PT. Kemilau Bumi Santosa serta Untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh keselamatan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif fokus pada metode survei. Berdasarkan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, maka jenis penelitia yang dapat digolongkan sebagai penelitian penjelasan atau explanatory research. Variaberl yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Keselamatan Kerja (X1) dan kesehatan kerja (X2) sebagai variabel independen, Variabel moivasi kerja (Y1) sebagai variabel intervening, dan variabel Kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen. Sampel diambil sebanyak 41 responden yaitu karyawan PT. Kemilau Bumi Santosa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat keselamatan kerja, kesehatan kerja, motivasi, dan kinerja karyawan adalah Baik. Tingkat keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Tingkat keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Tidak hanya itu, kinerja karyawan akan semakin tinggi apabila motivasi kerja yang timbul dari karyawan juga meningkat akibat dari peningkatan keselamatan kerja yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan
English Abstract
This study aims to determine and describe the effect of occupational safety and health as well as motivation and performance of employees of PT. Kemilau Bumi Santosa and To find out and explain the effect of work safety on employee work motivation. This study uses quantitative methods focused on survey methods. Based on the objectives that have been set, the type of research that can be classified as explanatory research. The variables used in this study are occupational safety (X1) and occupational health (X2) as independent variables, work motivation variable (Y1) as an intervening variable, and employee performance as the dependent variable. Samples were taken as many as 41 respondents, namely employees of PT. The sheen of the Santosa Earth with saturated sampling technique. The results showed that the level of work safety, occupational health, motivation, and employee performance was good. The level of occupational safety and health has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. The level of occupational safety and health has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Not only that, employee performance will be even higher if the work motivation arising from the employees also increases as a result of the increase in work safety carried out by the company
