Abstract

Salah satu industri yang saat ini dilihat pemerintah yaitu industri susu dan peternakan sapi, yang mana industri tersebut dapat berkembang baik di Indonesia. Salah satu industri susu yang saat ini dilihat pemerintah yaitu milik PT Greenfields. Industri pengolahan susu ini berlokasi di perkebunan teh Sirah Kencong, Desa Ngadirenggo, Kabupaten Blitar. PT Greenfields tidak hanya sekedar melakukan kegiatan perindustriannya, melainkan juga menjadi agen pembangunan masyarakat dan negara, seperti upaya membangun jalan, memberi donasi, serta mendukung pembangunan desa melalui program-program yang mereka buat. PT Greenfields menjadi ruang studi yang diambil peneliti untuk melihat bagaimana relasi yang terjalin antara pihak Greenfields dengan masyarakat dusun Genjong, serta ingin melihat bagaimana partisipasi dan respon masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan dan penerapan program CSR PT Greenfields. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, peneliti mencoba membagi dua bagian informan, yang pertama dari pihak perusahaan yang berurusan mengenai program CSR, dan yang kedua yaitu bagian informan yang menjadi sasaran dari program CSR serta para elit desa (perangkat desa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program CSR yang dikeluarkan oleh PT Greenfields telah diupayakan semaksimal mungkin sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembangunan masyarakat di sekitar industri. Program-program CSR juga seringkali disematkan sebagai wujud ekonomi-moral suatu perusahaan akan niat mereka untuk memperbaiki masyarakat yang hidup di sekitar perusahaan, sehingga berakhir pada kepentingan perusahaan agar dapat mengembangkan dan memperluas bisnis yang mereka jalankan. Dilain sisi masyarakat juga memanfaatkan hal tersebut untuk meminta apa yang mereka inginkan kepada pihak perusahaan

English Abstract

One of the industries currently being looked at by the government is the dairy industry and cattle breeding, where these industries can develop well in Indonesia. One of the dairy industries currently being looked at by the government is PT Greenfields. This milk processing industry is located in the Sirah Kencong tea plantation, Ngadirenggo Village, Blitar Regency. PT Greenfields does not only carry out its industrial activities, but also becomes an agent of community and state development, such as efforts to build roads, make donations, and support village development through their programs. PT Greenfields became a study space that researchers took to see how the relationship that existed between Greenfields and the Genjong hamlet community was, and wanted to see how the community's participation and response was in the planning and implementation process of PT Greenfields' CSR program. By using a qualitative approach, the researcher tries to divide the informants into two parts, the first is from the company that deals with CSR programs, and the second is the informants who are the targets of the CSR program and the village elites (village officials). The results of the study indicate that the CSR program issued by PT Greenfields has been pursued as much as possible in accordance with the development needs of the community around the industry. CSR programs are also often embedded as a form of the moral-economy of a company for their intention to improve the community living around the company, so that it ends up in the interests of the company in order to be able to develop and expand the business they run. On the other hand, the community also takes advantage of this to ask the company what they want.
