Abstract

"Kompetensi Guru merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh guru untuk mendukung tanggung jawabnya sebagai salah satu sumber daya manusia dalam pendidikan untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Menurut Undang-undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 Pasal 1 ayat 9 tentang Guru dan Dosen dijelaskan bahwa Kompetensi adalah seperangkat pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku yang harus dimiliki, dihayati, dan dikuasai oleh guru atau dosen dalam melaksanakan tugas keprofesionalan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan kuantitaif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian explanatori dan kuesioner merupakan instumen penelitian untuk mengumpulkan data serta wawancara dalam memperkuat data kuesioner. Tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan serta pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada hasil uji regresi koefisien korelasi memiliki nilai 0,864 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai korelasi tersebut dalam kategori sangat kuat karena berada di interval 0,80 – 1,000 pada tabel interpretasi koefisien korelasi. Maka hubungan antara kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat, karena memiliki nilai korelasi 0,864. Kemudian dalam hasil uji t yang dapat menunjukkan besaran pengaruh memiliki nilai 13,046 dengan nilai t tabel sebesar 2,00172. Dengan nilai tersebut dapat disimpulkan t hitung > t tabel yaitu 13,046 > 2,00172 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru

English Abstract

Teacher competence is the skill that teachers must possess in order to fulfill their roles as one of the nation's human resources in education, educating the nation's children. According to Law Number 14 of 2005 Article 1 paragraph 9 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized, and mastered by teachers or lecturers in carrying out their professional duties. The study uses quantitative study methods and the type of research used is explanatory research. The questionnaire is a research tool for gathering data, and interviews are used to enrich the questionnaire data. The purpose of this research is to see how teacher competency affects teacher performance. The results obtained in this study indicate that the results of the regression test the correlation coefficient has a value of 0.864 which indicates that the correlation value is in the very strong category because it is in the interval 0.80 – 1,000 in the correlation coefficient interpretation table. As a result, the relation between teacher competence and teacher performance is very strong, with a correlation value of 0.864. The t test results show that the magnitude of the effect has a value of 13.046 with a t table value of 2.0172. With this number, it can be concluded that t count > t table is 13.046 > 2.00172, indicating that teacher competency has an effect on teacher performance.
