Abstract

Perubahan tata guna lahan yang terjadi pada DAS Lesti secara tidak langsung akan mempengaruhi laju infiltrasi. Berkurangnya vegetasi penutup lahan dan adanya proses pengolahan tanah seperti pemadatan akan mengubah karakteristik laju infiltrasi pada suatu lahan. Sehingga perlu dilakukan sebuah studi yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sifat fisik tanah terhadap laju infiltrasi dengan menggunakan model regresi linear berganda. Studi ini dilakukan pada lahan pertanian yang berada di DAS Lesti. Pada setiap titik dilakukan pengambilan data pengukuran laju infiltrasi menggunakan alat Double Ring Infiltrometer dan pengambilan sampel tanah yang nantinya akan dianalisis kandungan kadar air awal tanah, porositas dan tekstur tanah yang meliputi kandungan sand, silt dan clay pada Laboratorium Tanah dan Air Tanah Jurusan Teknik Pengairan. Dari data laju infiltrasi dan data sifat fisik tanah kemudian dilakukan analisis korelasi dan determinasi untuk mengetahui seberapa erat hubungan antara variabel ln laju infiltrasi awal dengan variabel sifat fisik tanah. Pada keseluruhan titik pengukuran, hasil korelasi yang didapatkan ternyata tidak cukup baik. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pemilihan kombinasi titik lain yang mampu memberikan nilai korelasi yang lebih baik. Didapatkan kombinasi titik 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 dan 8 memberikan hasil bahwa variabel ln sand, ln clay dan ln kadar air memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi dan determinasi yang cukup kuat dengan nilai lebih dari 0,5. Setelah itu kemudian dilakukan pembuatan tiga model regresi linear berganda. Model regresi pertama tersusun atas variabel bebas ln clay dan ln kadar air. Model regresi kedua tersusun atas variabel bebas ln sand dan ln kadar air. Dan model regresi ketiga tersusun atas variabel bebas ln sand, ln clay dan ln kadar air. Dari hasil analisis tersebut, model regresi yang menggunakan variabel ln clay dan ln kadar air mampu memenuhi uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis dengan kekuatan variabel ln clay dan ln kadar air secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan variabel ln laju infiltrasi awal sebesar 88,4%. Dari hasil uji validasi model menunjukkan bahwa nilai pemodelan regresi mendekati dengan hasil pengukuran di lapangan.

English Abstract

Land-use changes that occur in the Lesti watershed will indirectly affect the infiltration rate. The decrease in land cover vegetation and the existence of soil processing processes such as compaction will change the characteristics of the infiltration rate in a land. So it is necessary to conduct a study aimed at determining the effect of soil physical properties on the infiltration rate using multiple linear regression models. This study was conducted on agricultural land located in the Lesti watershed. At each point, data were taken to measure the infiltration rate using a Double Ring Infiltrometer and soil samples were taken which would later be analyzed for initial soil moisture content, porosity, and soil texture including content sand, silt, and clay at the Soil and Groundwater Laboratory, Department of Irrigation Engineering. From the infiltration rate data and soil physical properties data, correlation and determination analysis were then carried out to determine how closely the relationship between the ln initial infiltration rate variable and the soil physical properties variables. In all measurement points, the correlation results obtained are not good enough. Therefore, it is necessary to choose another point combination that can provide a better correlation value. The combination of points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 gives the result that the variable ln sand, ln clay, and ln water content have a fairly strong correlation and determination coefficient with a value of more than 0,5. After that, three multiple linear regression models were made. The first regression model is composed of independent variables ln clay and ln water content. The second regression model is composed of independent variables ln sand and ln water content. And the third regression model is composed of independent variables ln sand, ln clay, and ln water content. From the results of the analysis, the regression model using the variables was ln clay and ln moisture contentable to fulfill the classical assumption test and hypothesis testing with the strength of the ln clay and ln water content variables together being able to explain the initial infiltration rate ln variable of 88,4%. The results of the model validation test show that the regression modeling value is close to the measurement results in the field.
