Abstract

"ABSTRAK Ersianti, Yuninda, Loviana. 2021. Pengaruh Getah Tanaman Jarak Pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Staphylococcus. Tugas Akhir, Program Studi Sarjana Kebidanan, Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya. Pembimbing: (1) dr. Etty Fitria Ruliatna SpMK(K) (2) Rahma Dian H, SST., M.Keb Latar belakang : Infeksi merupakan suatu penyakit yang berkontribusi pada Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di dunia, salah satunya Indonesia. Tujuan : Menganalisis produk bioaktif getah J. curcas dan efek antibakteri getah J. curcas melawan bakteri strain S. aureus yang meliputi zona inhibisi, KHM, dan KBM berdasarkan literature review. Metode : Literature review dengan analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan metode PICOT. Jurnal bereputasi diperoleh dari database online seperti Wiley Online Library, Scopus, Elsevier, Science Direct, PubMed, Google Scholar, Sage, Researchgate dan Portal Garuda Dikti. Jenis jurnal yang digunakan adalah artikel penelitian asli yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2011-2021. Hasil : Secara keseluruhan 10 penelitian memenuhi kriteria. Hasil analisis senyawa fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa getah J. curcas mengandung alkaloid, saponin, tanin, flavonoid, fenol, glikosida, terpenoid, steroid, dan curcacycline A. Keseluruhan getah J. curcas memiliki daya hambat yang kuat-sangat kuat. Zona hambat maksimum pada bakteri MRSA adalah 30 ± 0 mm. Getah J. curcas menunjukkan aktivitas antimikroba terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan MRSA dalam metode difusi dengan zona inhibisi (0,0 mm - 30 ± 0 mm), KHM (0,05 mg/mL dan 1,56 mg/ml) dan KBM (0,1 mg/mL dan 6,25 mg/mL). Kesimpulan : Pengujian fitokimia getah J. curcas secara kualitatif mengandung senyawa alkaloid, saponin, tanin, flavonoid, fenolik, glikosida, terpenoid, steroid, dan curcacycline A. Getah tanaman jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas Linn.) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap S. aureus. Objectives : To analysis the screening of J. curcas latex bioactive products and antibacterial effects of J. curcas latex against S. aureus strain bacteria which include Zone of Inhibition (ZOI), Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC), and Minimum bactericidal Concentration (MBC) based on literature review. Methods : This was a literature review under analysis of research results using the PICOT method. Reputable journal articles by online databases such as Wiley Online Library, Scopus, Elsevier, Science Direct, PubMed, Google Scholar, Sage, Researchgate dan Portal Garuda Dikti. The type of journal review is original research article published in 2011-2021. Results : In total, 10 studies were included. The results of phytochemical compound analysis demonstrate that J. curcas latex contains flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, phenolics, terpenoids, steroids, glycosides, and curcacycline A. Overall, J. curcas latex had a strong-very strong inhibition. The maximum inhibition zone in MRSA bacteria was 30 ± 0 mm. J. curcas latex shows effective antibacterial activity against S. aureus and MRSA in the diffusion method (ranged 0.0 mm - 30 ± 0 mm), MIC (0.05 mg/mL and 1.56 mg/ml) and MBC (0.1 mg / mL and 6.25 mg / mL). Conclusion : Phytochemical screening of J. curcas latex qualitatively contains flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, phenolics, terpenoids, steroids, glycosides, and curcacycline A. Latex of J. curcas has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. Keywords : J. curcas latex, S. aureus, phytochemical, ZOI, MIC, MBC."
