Abstract
Menarche adalah menstruasi pertama yang terjadi di masa awal remaja. Dalam menghadapi menarche terdapat faktor internal (usia dan tingkat pengetahuan) dan eksternal (dukungan keluarga dan sumber informasi) yang mempengaruhi. Ketidaksiapan anak akan memunculkan respon negative seperti merasa takut, gelisah, atau cemas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan usia, tingkat pengetahuan, dukungan keluarga terhadap kesiapan menarche pada siswi kelas IV dan V di SDN Sananwetan 2 Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan desain cross-sectional menggunakan total sampling, responden terdiri dari 55 orang siswi kelas IV dan V yang belum mengalami menstruasi. Variabel usia, tingkat pengetahun, dukungan keluarga dan kesiapan menarche diukur dengan kuesioner. Hasil analisis data menggunakan Spearman (α = 0,05), usia responden dalam kategori pubertas (≥ 11 tahun) sebanyak 29 orang (52,7%). Tingkat pengetahuan responden dalam kategori cukup sebanyak 27 orang (49%). Dukungan keluarga pada responden dalam kategori cukup optimal sebanyak 24 orang (43,6%). Kesiapan menghadapi menarche dalam kategori siap sebanyak 33 orang (60%). Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kesiapan menarche anak (p = 0,002), dan dukungan keluarga dengan kesiapan menarche (p=0,000). Sedangkan usia tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kesiapan menarche anak (p=0,156). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan adanya edukasi terkait kesiapan menarche yang diberikan oleh keluarga maupun sekolah lebih dini kepada anak.
English Abstract
Menarche is the first menstruation that occurs in early adolescence. In dealing with menarche, there are internal factors (age and level of knowledge) and external factors (family support and sources of information) that influence. The child's unpreparedness will lead to negative responses such as feeling afraid, a or anxious. The main objective: to determine the relationship between age, level of knowledge, family support on readiness for menarche at SDN Sananwetan 2 Blitar City. Descriptive correlation research with cross-sectional designand using total sampling, the respondents consisted of 55 students in grades IV and V who had not experienced menstruation. The variables of age, level of knowledge, family support and readiness for menarche were measured by a questionnaire. The analysis using Spearman (α = 0.05), the age data of respondents in the puberty category (≥ 11 years) were 29 people (52.7%). The level of knowledge of respondents in the sufficient category is 27 people (49%). Family support to respondents in the category of quite optimal as many as 24 people (43.6%). Readiness to face menarche in the ready category was 33 people (60%). There is a relationship between the level of knowledge with children's menarche readiness (p = 0.002), and family support with menarche readiness (p = 0.000). Meanwhile, age did not have a significant relationship with children's menarche readiness (p=0.156). Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that families and schools will be education related to the readiness for menarche that given by families and school earlier to children.
