Abstract
CV Jade Indopratama bergerak di bidang percetakan dan advertising secara profesional. Permasalahan yang terjadi di proses produksi percetakan adalah sebagian besar pekerja merasakan sakit pada bagian tubuh punggung, pinggang, lengan bawah, dan pergelangan tangan kiri. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko dan memberikan perbaikan untuk mengurangi risiko MSDs di tempat kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quick Exposure Check (QEC) dan Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan metode QEC menunjukkan exposure level masing-masing untuk divisi design, pre-press, cetak, dan finishing sebesar 43,90%, 53,08%, 52,66%, dan 58,77%. Sedangkan berdasarkan OWAS mendapat score sebesar 1, 3, 2, dan 3. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah perancangan kursi kerja, material handling, tangga pijakan, dan poster peregangan otot sehingga dapat mengurangi exposure level pada QEC masing-masing untuk divisi pre-press, cetak, dan finishing sebesar 49,77%, 48,40%, dan 47,36%. Sedangkan untuk score OWAS, pada divisi pre-press, cetak, dan finishing mendapat score 2.
English Abstract
CV. Jade Indopratama is engaged in printing and advertising professionals. In the initial observations and interviews with management, several problems occurred in the printing production process, such as pain in certain body parts felt by workers and work postures that could pose a risk of MSDs. Based on this, the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire was distributed to workers in the production process. The results of filling out the NBM questionnaire showed that most workers in the printing production process, including design, pre-press, press, and finishing division, felt pain in the back, wrist, forearm, and left wrist. The pain has an impact on the high level of risk of MSDs in the workplace. Therefore, this study aims to identify the risk of MSDs and provide improvements to reduce the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders experienced by workers in the printing production process of CV Jade Indopratama Malang. Based on the problems above, this study uses the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method and the Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS). The QEC method aims to determine the risks that occur significantly in the back, shoulders/arms, use of hands, and neck and their combination with the risk factors of duration, repetition, static and dynamic work, and energy required. While, the OWAS method will analyze the work attitude that defines the movement of the back, arms, legs, and the weight of the load being lifted. The research was conducted with preliminary stages, data collection, data processing, analysis, discussion, conclusions and suggestions. Results based on the analysis using the QEC method, the exposure levels were 43.90% for design division, 53.08% for pre-press division, 52.66% for press division, and 58.77% for finishing division. While the design division needs further research, other division s need further research and improvements. Based on OWAS, design division gets a score of 1, press division gets a score of 2, pre-press and finishing division get a score of 3. The recommendations are the design of an adjustable operator work chair, an adjustable work chair with a backrest, manual material handling, step ladder, and muscle stretching posters. The improvement recommendations given can reduce the exposure level in QEC with an estimated recalculation on pre-press division of 49.77%, press division of 48.40%, and finishing division of 47.36%. As for the OWAS score, the prepress, press, and finishing division got a score of 2.
