Abstract
"ABSTRAK Arofa,Putri. 2021. Hubungan antara Peran Orang Tua dengan Tingkat Kecemasan pada Anak Usia Sekolah selama Masa Pandemi COVID-19. Tugas akhir, Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya. Pembimbing: (1) Dr. Yati Sri Hayati, S.Kp., M.Kes. (2) Ns. Muladefi Choriyah, S.Kep., M.Kep. Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan termasuk kesehatan mental anak salah satunya adalah kecemasan akibat terbatasnya ruang gerak bagi anak. Peran orang tua sangat penting dalam mengatasi kecemasan pada anak sehingga anak tetap dapat memenuhi tugas pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara peran orang tua dengan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah selama pandemic COVID-19 di SDN Sumbersari 1 Kecamatan Beji Pasuruan. Desain penelitian ini adalah korelasi analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia sekolah beserta salah satu orang tuanya, sebanyak 111 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman-rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua selama masa pandemic COVID-19 mayoritas dalam kategori baik sebanyak 82,9% sedangkan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah mayoritas tidak ada kecemasan sebanyak 73,0%. Hasil Uji korelasi spearman-rho diperoleh nilai p-value sebesar 0,201. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan antara peran orang tua dengan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah selama masa pandemic COVID-19 karena nilai α < p-value (0,05 < 0,201). Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat mengontrol faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah, yakni faktor lingkungan dan sosial budaya. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted various aspects of life including children's mental health, one of which is anxiety due to limited wiggle room for children. The role of parents is very important so that the child can still fulfill the task of growth and development well. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the role of parents and the level of anxiety in school-age children during the COVID-19 pandemic at SDN Sumbersari 1 In Beji Pasuruan Subdistrict. The design of this study is an analytical correlation with a cross-sectional approach, a simple random sampling technique. Respondents in this study were as school-age children and one of their parents, as many as 111 people. Analyze the data using the Spearman-rho test. The results showed that the role of parents during the COVID- 19 pandemic was the majority in the good category as much as 82.9% while the anxiety rate in school-age children was the majority of no anxiety as much as 73.0%. Spearman-rho correlation test result obtained p-value value of 0.201. The conclusion of this study is that there is no link between the role of parents and anxiety levels in school-age children during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the α < p-value (0.05 < 0.201). The advice is expected for further research to increase the number of samples to be used and can control environmental and socio-cultural factors that can affect the role of parents as well as anxiety levels in school-age children.
