Abstract

Penggunaan jasa pengiriman barang yang mudah didukung dengan perkembangan sistem informasi yang pesat, membuat pasar jual beli online menjadi sarana favorit untuk melakukan transaksi. Menggunakan media jual beli online, penjual dan pembeli dapat menggunakan jasa pengiriman jarak dekat maupun jasa pengiriman ekspedisi atau jarak jauh. Keamanan barang yang kurang pada saat proses pengiriman melalui jasa tersebut, membuat pembeli khawatir dalam melakukan pesanan. Sebagaimana kondisi barang rusak saat proses pengiriman atau pembeli tidak mendapatkan pesanannya karena diterima oleh pihak yang tidak berhak. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, sebuah sistem keamanan perlu dibuat untuk meningkatkan keamanan barang yang dikirim. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengimplementasikan IoT (Internet of Things) pada jasa keamanan pengiriman paket. Sistem memanfaatkan kemampuan ESP32 untuk membangun jaringan lokal sebagai web server dan access point. Perangkat menggunakan IC (Integrated Circuit) yang dimiliki ESP32 sebagai mikrokontroler untuk mengontrol sistem keamanan yang dimiliki perangkat Smart Delivery Box. Sehingga sistem dapat menerima data yang dikirimkan web client menggunakan jaringan lokal yang dimiliki ESP32.

The use of easy delivery services, supported by the rapid development of information systems, has made the online buying and selling market a favorite means of conducting transactions. Using online buying and selling media, sellers and buyers can use short-distance delivery services as well as expedition or long-distance delivery services. Lack of security of goods during the delivery process through these services, makes buyers worry about placing orders. As the condition of the goods damaged during the shipping process or the buyer did not get the order because it was received by an unauthorized party. To overcome this problem, a security system needs to be created to increase the security of the goods sent. The research was conducted by implementing IoT (Internet of Things) in package delivery security services. The system utilizes the ability of ESP32 to build a local network as a web server and access point. The device uses an IC (Integrated Circuit) owned by ESP32 as a microcontroller to control the security system of the Smart Delivery Box device. So that the system can receive data sent by the web client using the local network owned by ESP32. Keyword: Delivery Service, ESP32, Local Network
