Abstract
Dalam dunia arsitektur, komponen ruang luar menjadi bagian yang juga penting selain dari perancangan bangunannya itu sendiri. Sebagai wadah aktivitas manusia, ruang luar haruslah dapat menciptakan suasana dan situasi yang nyaman saat manusia beraktivitas dan kenyamanan termal menjadi salah satu bagiannya. Kumulo Creative Compound menjadi salah satu kawasan ruang luar yang performa lingkungan termalnya masih perlu diperhatikan karena terindikasi belum maksimal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana performa termal ruang luar di kawasan Kumulo Creative Compound dan bagaimana kriteria desain yang dapat meningkatkan performa lingkungan termal disana. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan pengukuran variabel iklim pada titik yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan performa termal di hampir seluruh titik belum maksimal dimana seluruh titik pengukuran masuk ke dalam kategori ketidaknyamanan yang dirasakan oleh >50% populasi berdasarkan indeks ketidaknyamanan. dan keberadaan vegetasi peneduh menjadi yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan performa termal disana selain pergantian material penutup tanah dan keberadaan elemen air.

Kintan Syahla Septiani, Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of Brawijaya, Outdoor Environment Thermal Performance in Kumulo Creative Compound Tangerang, Academic Supervisor: Wasiska Iyati, ST.,MT. In the world of architecture, the outer space component is also an important part beside the design of the building itself. As a place for human activity, outdoor space must be able to create a comfortable atmosphere and situation when people doing activity on the outer space and thermal comfort is a part of it. Kumulo Creative Compound is one of the outdoor areas whose thermal environmental performance still needs attention because it is indicated that it is not optimal. This study aims to find out how the thermal performance of the outdoor space in the Kumulo Creative Compound area and how the design criteria can improve the performance of the thermal environment there. This research was conducted by measuring climate variables at predetermined points. The results showed that the thermal performance at almost all points was not maximized where all measurement points fall into the category of discomfort felt by >50% of the population based on the discomfort index, and the presence of shade vegetation was the most influential in improving thermal performance there beside of changing the ground cover material and the presence of the water element.
