Abstract

Indonesia yang terdapat di jalur ring of fire menyebabkan tingginya potensi bencana alam gempa. Dampak dari bencana alam tersebut ialah runtuhnya bangunan sehingga menimbulkan korban jiwa. Meminimalisir hal tersebut terjadi kembali maka dilakukan penelitian terkait perilaku.beban.dan.perpindahan.pada struktur.portal.2.lantai menggunakan.bracing.tipe,V dengan variasi eksentrisitas yaitu 0 cm, 60 cm dan 120 cm. Dari hasil analisis didapat perpindahan terkecil pada bracing 0 cm dengan meshing 4 sebesar 0,0393 m dan dengan meshing 25 sebesar 0,0377 m. Sedangkan perpindahan tebesar pada bracing 120 cm dengan meshing 4 sebesar 0,2589 m dan dengan meshing 25 sebesar 0,2479 m. Untuk nilai beban terbesar pada bracing 0 cm dengan meshing 4 sebesar 240805,6 N dan dengan meshing 25 sebesar 233880,8 N. Sedangkan nilai beban terkecil pada bracing 120 cm dengan meshing 4 sebesar 170040,4 N dan dengan meshing 25 sebesar 191038,8 N. English Abstract

Indonesia, which is recorded to have around 130 active volcanoes, shows that our country is in the ring of fire. This results in a high potential for earthquakes to occur in our area. According to the BNPB (Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana), it has been recorded that since 2019 around 10,115 people have been killed due to the earthquake. Most of the fatalities were caused by being hit by building materials, especially in residential houses. The collapse of the building was the result of a large deformation of the structure. The solution to be investigated is the application of bracing to the structure of the building. The use of bracing that a structure can withstand vertical forces (gravity loads) and lateral forces (earthquake loads). In this research, the analysis of a two-story portal with type V bracing uses the ABAQUS student version software. Two eccentric bracing systems are used as structural stiffeners, EBF (Ecentrically Braced Frame) modeling and CBF (Concentrically Braced Frame) modeling. For the EBF itself, it will be modeled into two variations, 60 cm and 120 cm while the CBF variation of 0 cm is used. Both systems will be analyzed using the same steel material BJ 37, with a portal size of 4x4 m with 2 floors. For comparison of data results to be more accurate, the elements (meshing by number) will be divided into 4 parts (large mesh) and 25 parts (small mesh). This analysis is given a lateral load at the upper left point of the portal structure as an assumption of a maximum earthquake load of 50 tons obtained from trial and error results until the portal structure is destroyed or aborted on the portal structure with an eccentricity variation of 0 cm. In the modeling of a two-story portal structure with eccentric bracing, the smallest displacement is on a concentric portal of 0 cm with a displacement value of 0.0393 m with a meshing of 4, and 0.0377 m with a meshing of 25. While the two-story portal structure with eccentric bracing which experienced the largest displacement was on the 120 cm eccentric portal with a displacement value of 0.2589 m with a meshing of 4, and 0.2479 m on a meshing of 25. For the value of the load or force on a two-story portal structure with eccentric bracing which experienced a force The largest is in the 0 cm concentric portal with a force value experienced of 240805.6 N with a meshing of 4, and 233880.8 N with a meshing of 25. While the two-story portal structure with eccentric bracing which has the smallest force is on the 120 cm eccentric portal with a value of the force experienced is 17040.4 N with a meshing of 4, and 191038.8 N with a meshing of 25.
