Abstract

Keberhasilan budidaya ikan ditunjang oleh beberapa faktor dimana salah satu faktor yang menentukan adalah tersedianya benih yang memenuhi syarat baik kualitas, kuantitas maupun kontinuitasnya. Parameter yang menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah parameter suhu. Metode yang digunakan adalah perbandingan pembacaan suhu antara sensor DS18B20 dan termometer digital TP-101 dan menentukan tingkat error dan suhu rataan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tingkat persen rata-rata error pengukuran suhu saat kondisi warmer OFF menurun sampai pada 0,00262% dan saat kondisi warmer ON sampai pada 0,00753%.

English Abstract

Catfish is one of the aquaculture products that has several advantages such as fast growth and high adaptability to the environment. National catfish production in 2010-2014 increased by 35% per year (Directorate General of Aquaculture, 2014 in Rica, 2015). The problem faced in catfish farming is the lack of seed quality in one hatchery period due to several parameters. The parameter that is the main focus in this study is the temperature parameter. In this design, a warmer or heater is used which is used with a relay switch circuit to activate the components and turn off the warmer automatically. The thermoelectric cooler (peltier) component is also used as a cooling system. To detect the air temperature, the DS18B20 temperature sensor will be compared with the TP101 thermometer for comparison and analysis. The results of the study using calibration with regression analysis method found that the average error rate decreased when conditions were warmer OFF from 2.34% down to 0.00262%. Meanwhile, the warmer ON condition decreased from 1.53% to 0.00753%. Keywords : DS18B20, Temperature controlling, Arduino NANO, Data communication, BLYNK
