Abstract

Koridor Kawasan Kampung Batik Jetis merupakan kawasan bersejarah yang banyak rumah dihuni oleh para pengerajin batik dan merupakan salah satu sentra batik terbesar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Kampung Batik Jetis sendiri sebagai sentra produksi dan pemasaran batik sangat mendukung fungsi ekonomi bagi Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Kesan kampung batik dan kawasan bersejarah dirasa masih kurang menonjol untuk dijadikan sebagai daya tarik kampung pariwisata bagi pengunjung, karena terdapat elemen pembentuk citra koridor tersebut terkesan masih kurang. Kurangnya tingkat ketertarikan masyarakat terhadap daya tarik dari kawasan Kampung Batik Jetis yang menjadi fokus masalah penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya tarik pada koridor Jalan pada Kampung Batik Jetis Sidoarjo berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah mixed-methods (Kualitatif-kuantitaif). Penelitian ini dengan mengumpulkan data berupa survey melalui kuisioner online sedapatnya (accidental sampling, non-probability sampling) dan berupa observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan analisis mean score, analisis faktor dan analisis regresi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa elemen daya tarik “baik”,”cukup” dan “kurang”. Pada tahap analisis faktor terbentuk 3 faktor yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap daya tarik koridor tersebut. Faktor “Atraksi, Fasilitas dan Keramahan” yang memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap daya tarik Koridor Kampung Batik Jetis berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat.

English Abstract

Corridor of Jetis Batik Village Street is a historic area with many houses inhabited by batik craftsmen and is one of the largest batik centers in Sidoarjo Regency. Batik Jetis Village itself as a center for batik production and marketing that can support of the economic function of Sidoarjo Regency. The impression of the batik village and the historic area is still not prominent enough to be used as an attraction for tourism villages for visitors, because there are elements that make the image of the corridor, which seems to be lacking. The lack of public interest in the attractiveness of the Kampung Batik Jetis area which is the focus of this research problem. This study aims to determine the attractiveness of the road corridor at Batik Jetis Village Sidoarjo based on public perception. The method used in this research is mixed-methods (qualitative-quantitative). Qualitative descriptive method was used to get an overview of the existing condition of the corridor in the Batik Jetis Village area. While the Quantitative Method is used to get an idea of what elements of attractiveness affect people's (tourist) perceptions in the corridors of Batik Jetis Village area. This research collects data in the form of a survey through online questionnaires as much as possible (accidental sampling, non-probability sampling) and doing some observation. The questionnaire does not include stimuli in the form of photos/videos. Because the respondent is assumed to have understood the condition of the corridor of Batik Jetis village (the criteria for the respondent to have visited at least 2 times). There are 26 variables that will be measured using a 7-level Likert scale. The data collected was analyzed qualitatively by explaining the existing condition of the corridor of Batik Jetis batik village area and quantitatively using mean score analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. Analysis of the mean score is used to determine the average score of people perception. Then the results of the analysis of the mean score will be linked to the results of the researchers' observations as well as the opinions and theories in the literature. The results of the study indicate that there are several elements of "good", "enough" and "less" attractiveness. Factor analysis is used to group 25 independent variables so that the form of the regression will not be too complex. After factor analysis, regression analysis was conducted to find out what elements of attractiveness had a iv significant influence based on public perception (tourist). In the factor analysis stage, 3 factors are formed that have a significant influence on the attractiveness of the corridor. The "Attractions, Facilities and Hospitality" factor that has a significant influence on the attractiveness of the Kampung Batik Jetis Corridor is based on people perception.
