Abstract

"Selama berada di lingkungan klinik, laporan insiden keselamatan pasien pada mahasiswa masih tinggi terutama pada pelaksanaan tindakan pembedahan, peningkatan pengalaman dan pemberian obat. Kebijakan keselamatan pasien perlu dikembangkan dalam pelayanan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan praktik profesional. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan pembelajaran klinik dengan kompetensi keselamatan pasien pada Alumni Program Pendidikan Ners. Metode pengambilan sampel yaitu consecutive sampling sehingga didapatkan subjek penelitian berjumlah 68 orang. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik korelasional dengan metode cross-sectional. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Clinical Learning Environment Inventory (CLEI) untuk menilai variabel lingkungan pembelajaran klinik dan Instrumen Health Professional Education in Patient Safety Survey (H-PEEPS) untuk menilai variabel kompetensi keselamatan pasien. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan pembelajaran klinik dengan kompetensi keselamatan pasien pada alumni program pendidikan Ners di Universitas Brawijaya (p<0,001; α= 0,05), semakin baik persepsi lingkungan pembelajaran klinik maka semakin baik persepsi kompetensi keselamatan pasien (r=0,509). Lingkungan pembelajaran klinik yang baik akan meningkatkan kepuasan mahasiswa dan menumbuhkan pengalaman belajar yang positif dalam pengembangan keterampilan dan kompetensi klinis. Oleh karena itu, perlunya meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran klinik melalui peningkatan peran pembimbing klinik, pengadaan program orientasi rumah sakit, menanamkan rasa kepercayaan diri dan melibatkan kegiatan inovasi pada mahasiswa keperawatan sehingga menghasilkan kepuasan dan pengalaman belajar yang positif selama berada di lingkungan pembelajaran klinik. English Abstract

While in the clinical environment, reports of patient safety incidents in students are still high, especially in the implementation of surgery, improving experience and administering drugs. Patient safety policies need to be developed in health services to improve the quality of education and professional practice. This study aims to determine the relationship between the clinical learning environment with patient safety competencies in the Alumni of the Nurses Education Program. The sampling method was consecutive sampling so that the research subjects were 68 people. The research design used was correlational analytic with cross-sectional method. The instruments used were the Clinical Learning Environment Inventory (CLEI) questionnaire to assess the clinical learning environment variables and the Health Professional Education in Patient Safety Survey (H-PEEPS) to assess patient safety competency variables. Data analysis using Pearson correlation test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the clinical learning environment and patient safety competence on the alumni of the Nursing education program at Brawijaya University (p<0,001; α= 0,05), the better the perception of the clinical learning environment, the better the perception of patient safety competence (r=0.509). A good clinical learning environment will increase student satisfaction and foster a positive learning experience in developing clinical skills and competencies. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of the clinical learning process through increasing the role of clinical supervisors, providing hospital orientation programs, instilling a sense of self-confidence and involving innovation activities in nursing students so as to produce satisfaction and positive learning experiences while in the clinical learning environment.
