Abstract

"Kerusakan jalan merupakan salah satu permasalahan transportasi di Kota Malang. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukanlah proses penilaian kualitas layanan jalan menggunakan metode Surface Distress Index (SDI), Pavement Condition Index (PCI), Dan Road Condition Index (RCI) guna mengetahui seberapa tingkat kerusakan jalan yang terjadi di beberapa ruas jalan di Kota dan Kabupaten Malang. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan yang terjadi di beberapa ruas jalan di Kota dan Kabupaten Malang, serta membuktikan bahwa adanya hubungan antara ketiga metode tersebut dalam penilaian kualitas jalan yang telah dilakukan. Wilayah studi ini bertempatan pada beberapa ruas jalan di Kota dan Kabupaten Malang, yaitu Jalan Candi Mendut, Jalan Saxophone dan Jalan Tegalgondo Kota Malang. Dipilihnya 3 ruas jalan tersebut dikarenakan kondisi jalan yang merupakan rangkaiasn ruas jalan alternatif yang sering dilalui kendaraan bermotor sehingga kedepanya sangat rentan mengalami kerusakan jika tidak ditangani dan diperbaiki secara berkala dan tepat. Untuk mengetahui nilai kerusakan jalan menggunakan metode Surface Distress Index (SDI), Pavement Condition Index (PCI), Dan Road Condition Index (RCI), dilakukan survei dalam penelitian ini meliputi survei lokasi dan kerusakan jalan yang dilakukan selama 1 minggu menggunakan alat survei berupa meteran roda dan straigth edge. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kerusakan di Jalan Candi Mendut untuk metode SDI bernilai 28.95 atau dalam kondisi baik, Metode RCI menunjukan nilai 5.94 dalam kondisi baik dan metode PCI bernilai 62.579 atau dalam kondisi fair atau cukup. Sedangkan pada jalan Tegalgondo-Saxophone, nilai SDI bernilai 29.74 atau dalam kondisi baik, nilai RCI menunjukan nilai 5.79 atau dalam kondisi baik dan nilai PCI menunjukan nilai 68.77 yang berarti dalam kondisi fair atau cukup. Sementara untuk model hubungan antara metode SDI dan RCI mendapatkan persamaan y = -0.03076 x + 6.5221 dengan R² = 0.5283 untuk ruas jalan Candi Mendut, sedangkan untuk ruas Jalan Tegalgondo-Saxophone mendapatkan persamaan model hubungan y = - 0.053816x + 7.44685 dengan R² = 0.613. Sementara untuk model hubungan metode RCI dan PCI untuk jalan Candi Mendut didapatkan persamaan y = 0.0363x + 3.3604 dengan R² = 0.7457, sedangkan untuk jalan Tegalgondo-Saxophone didapatkan persamaan y = 0.05174x + 2.288023 dengan R² = 0.654. Sementara untuk model hubungan SDI dan PCI untuk ruas jalan Candi Mendut didapatkan nilai persamaan y = -0.7864x + 78.158 dengan R² = 0.6273, sedangkan untuk ruas jalan Tegalgondo-Saxophone didapatkan persamaan y = -0.6529x + 74.644 dengan R² = 0.4919. English Abstract

Road damage is one of the transportation problems in Malang. To overcome this, the process of assessing the quality of road services using surface distress index (SDI), Pavement Condition Index (PCI), dan Road Condition Index (RCI) method to find out how much road damage occurs on some roads in Malang City and Regency. This study aims to determine the extent of damage that occurs on several roads in malang city and regency, as well as prove that there is a relationship between the three methods in the assessment of road quality that has been done. The study area is located on several roads in malang city and regency, namely Mendut Temple Street, Saxophone Street and Tegalgondo Street, Malang City. The choice of 3 roads is due to the condition of the road which is a frame of alternative roads that are often traversed by motor vehicles so that in the future it is very vulnerable to damage if not handled and repaired periodically and appropriately. To find out the value of road damage using surface distress index (SDI), Pavement Condition Index (PCI), dan Road Condition Index (RCI) method, the survey was conducted in this study including site survey and road damage conducted for 1 week using a survey tool in the form of wheel meter and straith edge. The data needed at the time of the survey is the type of road damage along with the dimensions of road damage, the depth of the flow of vehicles on the road, the number of holes on the road and the area and width of cracks on the road. The methods used to determine how much damage occurs on the road and the relationship between the three methods are Damage Analysis and RoadWorthiness and Relationship Model Analysis. Standards used to determine road damage that occurs using standards from ASTM, Bina Marga and Permen PU No. 42 of 2007. The results showed that there was damage in Jalan Candi Mendut for SDI method worth 28.95 or in good condition, RCI method showed a value of 5.94 in good condition and PCI method worth 62,579 or in fair or sufficient condition. While on tegalgondo-saxophone road, SDI value is 29.74 or in good condition, RCI value shows a value of 5.79 or in good condition and PCI value shows a value of 68.77 which means in fair or sufficient condition. As for the relationship model between SDI and RCI method get equation y = -0.03076 x + 6.5221 with R² = 0.5283 for mendut temple road, while for Tegalgondo-Saxophone road section get relationship model equation y = - 0.053816x + 7.44685 with R² = 0.613. As for the model of rci and PCI method relationship for mendut temple road obtained equation y = 0.0363x + 3.3604 with R² = 0.7457, while for Tegalgondo-Saxophone road obtained equation y = 0.05174x + 2.288023 with R² = 0.654. As for the relationship model of SDI and PCI for mendut temple road section obtained the value of equation y = -0.7864x + 78.158 with R² = 0.6273, while for tegalgondo-saxophone road section obtained equation y = -0.6529x + 74.644 with R² = 0.4919.
