Abstract

2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) merupakan senyawa toksik polutan organik yang sangat persisten di dalam lingkungan. Senyawa ini dapat terakumulasi dalam tubuh melalui rantai makanan yang terkontaminasi sehingga dapat menyebabkan berbagai efek buruk bagi kesehatan Manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengamati pengaruh aktivitas produk tablet kasein yoghurt susu kambing terhadap kadar residu TCDD, kadar Malondialdehyde (MDA), dan gambaran histopatologi hati ayam broiler yang dipapar 50 ng/mL TCDD. Sebanyak 18 ekor ayam broiler jantan berumur 3 minggu digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok eksperimen berdasarkan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL): 1 (kelompok kontrol negatif), 2 (kelompok kontrol positif), 3 (kelompok kontrol terapi) dengan pemberian terapi 750 mg kasein dari produk kasein yoghurt susu kambing selama 21 hari. Residu TCDD dan kadar MDA diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis dan uji reaksi asam tiobarbiturat. Gambaran histopatologi hati menggunakan pewarnaan Hemaktosilin-Eosin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian terapi kasein dari produk tablet kasein yoghurt susu kambing memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata (p<0,05) terhadap kadar residu TCDD pada jaringan otot/daging, serum, lemak, hati dan kadar MDA pada hati dengan masing-masing penurunan sebesar 25,91%, 29,22%, 13,43%, 5,75%, dan 43,74% dengan kadar residu TCDD masing-masing sebesar 76 ng/mL, 79 ng/mL, 104 ng/mL, 140 ng/mL, dan kadar MDA 50,74 μg/mL. Selain itu dapat memperbaiki gambaran histopatologi hati ayam broiler dari kelompok terapi yang terlihat lebih baik dari kelompok positif. Disarankan bahwa produk tablet kasein dari yoghurt susu kambing memiliki kapasitas sebagai anti-dioksin dan antioksidan.

English Abstract

2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is a toxic compound of organic pollutants that is very persistent in the environment. This compound can accumulate in the body through contaminated food and can cause various adverse effects on human health. The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of the activity of casein tablet products goat milk yogurt on TCDD residue levels, Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, and histopathological profile of broiler liver exposed to 50 ng/mL TCDD. A total of 18 male broilers aged 3 weeks were used in this study and were divided into 3 experimental groups based on a complete randomized design (CRD): 1 (negative control group), 2 (positive control group), 3 (therapeutic control group) with therapy 750 mg of casein tablet products goat milk yogurt for 21 days. TCDD residues and MDA levels were measured using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and thiobarbituric acid reaction test. Histopathological profile of broiler liver was observed using Hematoxylin-Eosin staining. The results showed that the administration casein of casein tablet products goat milk yogurt had a significantly different effect (p<0.05) on the TCDD residue levels in muscle/meat, serum, fat, liver and MDA levels in the liver with each decrease of 25.91%, 29.22%, 13.43%, 5.75%, and 43.74% with TCDD residue levels each of 79 ng/mL, 76 ng/mL, 104 ng/mL, 140 ng/mL, and MDA levels of 50.74 μg/mL. Moreover, it can improve the histopathological profile of broiler liver from the therapy group which looks better than the positive group. It is suggested that casein tablet products from goat milk yogurt possess anti-dioxin and antioxidant capacities.
