Abstract

One push aerosol merupakan jenis insektisida yang mengandung bahan aktif tertentu salah satunya transfluthrin. Transfluthrin termasuk senyawa turunan pyerethorid yang memiliki sifat reaktif karena memiliki satu elektron bebas. Interaksi transfluthrin dengan jaringan darah menyebabkan hemoglobin kehilangan satu elektron yang seharusnya berikatan dengan oksigen sehingga produk oksigen dalam darah meningkat dan memproduksi radikal bebas ROS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa kerusakan jaringan darah dalam rentang waktu tertentu akibat paparan obat nyamuk one push aerosol tipe A dengan kandungan transfluthrin 25%. Pemberian antioksidan jahe merah, temulawak, dan buah mengkudu dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap pengurangan tingkat kerusakan eritrosit. Penelitian ini hewan coba mencit dipapar obat nyamuk one push aerosol tipe A dalam berbagai lama paparan. Mencit diberi antioksidan jahe merah, temulawak, dan buah mengkudu dalam rentang waktu yang sama dengan paparan one push aerosol. Kerusakan ditentukan berdasarkan kemunculan radikal bebas dan pengaruhnya terhadap sifat kelistrikan jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan radikal bebas muncul dalam intensitas berbeda. Lama paparan memengaruhi nilai impedansi. Pemberian antioksidan mengurangi kerusakan eritrosit yang diakibatkan paparan transfluthrin 25%. Eritrosit memiliki tingkat keruskan paling tinggi untuk paparan one push aerosol dalam 35 hari dan mengalami penurunan dengan pemberian antioksidan.

English Abstract

One push aerosol is a type of insecticide that contains certain active ingredients, one of which is transfluthrin. Transfluthrin is a pyrethroid derivative that has reactive properties because it has one free electron. The interaction of transfluthrin with blood tissue causes hemoglobin to lose an electron that is supposed to bind to oxygen, causing the oxygen products in the blood to increase and producing ROS free radicals. The purpose of this study was to analyze blood tissue damage within a certain time frame due to exposure to one push aerosol type A mosquito repellent with a 25% transfluthrin content. The provision of antioxidants in the form of red ginger, ginger, and noni fruit was done to determine its influence on reducing the level of erythrocyte damage. In this study, the mice were exposed to one push aerosol type A mosquito repellent in various exposure periods. Mice were provided with antioxidants in the form of red ginger, curcuma, and noni fruit in the same time frame as the exposure to one push aerosol. The damage was determined based on the appearance of free radicals and their effects on the electrical nature of the network. The results showed free radicals appeared in different intensities. The duration of exposure influenced the impedance value. Antioxidants reduced erythrocyte damage caused by transfluthrin exposure by 25%. Erythrocytes had the highest level of damage for one push aerosol exposure in 35 days and the damage was decreasing with the administration of antioxidants.
