Abstract
SIP Dispendukcapil Jember adalah aplikasi mobile yang dikembangkan oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Jember yang digunakan sebagai sarana untuk melakukan layanan penduduk secara online. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada pengembang dan pengguna aplikasi terdapat beberapa keluhan terkait dengan aplikasi SIP yang berkaitan dengan aspek usability. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah didapatkan maka perlu dilakukannya evaluasi usability pada aplikasi SIP. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua metode yaitu usability testing dengan aspek effectiveness, efficiency dan satisfaction yang dilakukan oleh responden dan heuristic evaluation dengan menggunakan sembilan prinsip heuristic yang dilakukan oleh evalutor. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh 19 permasalahan usability. 14 permasalahan ditemukan pada saat melakukan heuristic evaluation dan 5 permasalahan ditemukan pada saat usability testing. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua metode tersebut menemukan 3 permasalahan usability yang sama. Pengujian usability menghasilkan tingkat effectiviness sebesar 80%, efficiency sebesar 67% dan satisfaction dengan rata-rata 45,62. Permasalahan usability dengan menggunakan heuristic evaluation berdasarkan 9 prinsip Monroy. Masalah ditemukan paling banyak pada prinsip MA04 achieve consistency dan MA06 have the app remember important stuff and not the user masing-masing sebanyak 4 permasalahan. Secara keseluruhan pada heuristic evaluation ditemukan masalah sebanyak 14. Permasalahan usability ditemukan 3 permasalahan pada kategori Minor usability problem, 6 permasalahan Mayor usability problem dan 5 permasalahan usability catsastrophe.
English Abstract
SIP Dispendukcapil Jember is a mobile application which developed by Department of Population and Civil Registration in Jember district that used as a tool to give a service to the people in online way. Based on the result of an interview towards the developer and users had some complaints related to the SIP application in usability aspect. Usability evaluation must be done towards the application based on the available problematic. Evaluation is done under two methods, the first is usability testing with the aspect of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction that must be done by the respondent and heuristic evaluation using nine heuristic principle that must be done by evaluator. The result of evaluation shows 19 problems that related to usability which consist of 14 problems found during heuristic evaluation and 5 problems found during usability testing. The two methods that were used during evaluation found out that there were 3 kind of the same problems in usability. Usability testing results the extent of effectiveness as much as 80%, efficiency 67% and satisfaction with an average of 45,62. Usability problems that found using heuristic evaluation based on 9 Monroy principle are mostly found in MA04 principle achieve consistency and MA06 have the app remember important stuff and not the user with 4 problems in each. Overall in heuristic evaluation found 14 problems, 3 in minor usability problem category, 6 in major usability problem category, and 5 problems in usability entcatastrophe category.
