Abstract
Ruang Terbuka Hijau memiliki peran penting dalam kawasan perkotaan yang padat, selain memiliki fungsi ekonomi, sosial dan budaya, ruang terbuka hijau juga memiliki fungsi sebagai kontrol iklim mikro yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas iklim perkotaan. Kota Surabaya dijuluki sebagai kota taman memiliki 1649,10 Ha ruang terbuka hijau berupa taman kota yang mana Taman Bungkul adalah salah satu taman yang menjadi ikon Kota Surabaya. Taman Bungkul seharusnya dapat menjadi preseden taman kota yang baik untuk pengembangan taman kota Surabaya di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-evaluatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan termal yang ada pada Taman Bungkul melalui metode Temperature Humidity Index (THI). Sejatinya beraktivitas pada ruang luar termasuk taman kota membutuhkan kondisi tertentu agar masyarakat merasa nyaman dalam beraktivitas di ruang luar. Dilakukan pengukuran data iklim mikro berupa Temperature Udara, Kelembaban Udara dan Kecepatan Angin selama tiga hari berturut-turut, dan hasil penelitian pada Taman Bungkul menunjukkan nilai tidak nyaman (>26). Nilai iklim mikro berbeda pada masing-masing titik pengukuran bergantung pada elemen pembentuk lansekap, dan elemen vegetasi merupakan elemen lansekap yang berperan penting dalam kontrol iklim mikro disekitarnya.
English Abstract
The green open space has an important role in dense urban areas, besides having an economic, social and cultural function, it has another function as a control of the microclimate of the region which can improve the quality of urban climate. Surabaya city is noted as a city of parks which has 1649,10 hectare of green open spaces in the form of parks, Bungkul park is one of them which become the icon of the city as it should be a good precedent for city parks for the development of Surabaya city parks in the future. This research is a descriptive-evaluative research that aims to determine the level of thermal comfort in Bungkul Park by using the Temperature Humidity Index (THI) method. The activities in outdoor spaces, including city parks, require certain conditions so that people feel comfortable in their outdoor activities. Microclimate data were measured in the form of Air Temperature, Humidity and Wind Velocity for three consecutive days, and the results of the research at Bungkul Park showed uncomfortable values (>26). Microclimate values are different in each measurement point depending on the elements forming the landscape, and vegetation elements are the landscape elements that play an important role in the control of the surrounding microclimate.
