Abstract

Lapangan “SONIC” terletak di Cekungan Jawa Barat Utara dengan zona target berada pada formasi Parigi dengan litologi limestone. Berdasarkan korelasi struktural lapangan “SONIC” merupakan lapangan yang memiliki zona prospek hidrokarbon berupa gas. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis persebaran porositas dengan menggunakan Inversi Impedansi Akustik (AI). Inversi impedansi akustik merupakan metode yang baik dalam menggambarkan model geologi bawah permukaan serta dapat dikorelasikan dengan porositas. Hasil inversi didapatkan berupa persebaran porositas pada litologi limestone yang poros dan tight. Litologi limestone poros berada pada empat sumur penelitian yaitu, STAR2, STAR3, STAR4, dan STAR5, dengan kedalaman 490-790 meter. Litologi limestone tight berada pada kedalaman 800-1702 meter. Litologi limestone poros berada pada rentang nilai AI 4656-5500 (g.m/cm3.s). Litologi limestone tight berada pada rentang nilai AI >5500-7340 (g.m/cm3.s). Penentuan daerah prospek sumur baru (STAR6) terletak pada kedalaman 610 – 640 meter. Daerah prospek sumur baru dipilih pada titik ini dikarenakan nilai porositas yang tinggi. Serta terdapat adanya patahan, yang dapat memudahkan proses migrasi vertikal.

English Abstract

The "SONIC" field is located in the North West Java Basin with the target zone in the Parigi formation with limestone lithology. Based on the structural correlation of field "SONIC" was the field that has a gas hydrocarbon prospect zone. This research conducted the porosity distribution analysis used acoustic impedance inversion (AI). The acoustic impedance inversion could describe a well-subsurface geological model and could correlate with porosity. The results of the inversion were the distribution of porosity on the porous and tight limestone's lithology. Porous limestone lithology found in four research wells of STAR2, STAR3, STAR4, and STAR5, with a depth of 490-790 meters. The tight limestone lithology was at a depth of 800-1702 meters. The porous limestone lithology was at the value range of AI 4656-5500 (g.m/cm3.s). The tight limestone lithology was at the AI value range >5500-7340 (g.m/cm3.s). The determination of the new well prospect (STAR6) located at a depth of 610-640 meters. The new well prospect area has selected at this point due to the high porosity value. And there were faulting, which would facilitate the process of migration vertically.
