Abstract
Obat nyamuk one push aerosol merupakan insektisida pembasmi nyamuk yang bekerja selama 10 jam dalam sekali tekan berbentuk aerosol dengan partikel berukuran PM10. One push aerosol mengandung senyawa aktif transfluthrin yang berpotensi membentuk radikal bebas dan dapat merusak paru-paru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian antioksidan pada kerusakan organ paru-paru mencit (Mus musculus) yang terpapar one push aerosol terhadap kandungan radikal bebas, nilai impedansi listrik, dan gambaran mikroskopis kerusakan organ. Perlakuan dan pengamatan dilakukan dengan metode variasi hari. Kandungan radikal bebas diidentifikasi menggunakan alat uji ESR (Electron Spin Resonance) melalui pembacaan kurva Lissajous. Pengukuran impedansi listrik dilakukan dengan alat Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, kemudian dibandingkan dengan nilai permitivitas dan resistivitasnya. Kerusakan organ dilihat secara mikroskopis melalui pengamatan adanya emfisema, destruksi septum intra alveolus (DSA), dan penebalan septum intra alveolus. Terdeteksi radikal bebas pada paru-paru mencit, yaitu anion superoksida O2−. Nilai impedansi, permitivitas, dan resistivitas cenderung menurun seiring bertambahnya jumlah hari paparan. Pemberian antioksidan menunjukkan adanya kenaikan nilai impedansi listrik, permitivitas, dan resistivitas diikuti penurunan intensitas radikal bebas dan jumlah kerusakan secara mikroskopis.
English Abstract
One push aerosol is a mosquito repellent insecticide that works for 10 hours in a single push in the form of aerosols with PM10 sized particles. One push aerosol contains the active compound transfluthrin which has the potential to form free radicals and can damage the lungs. This study aims to analyze the effect of antioxidant administration on damage to the organs of the lungs of mice (Mus musculus) exposed to one push aerosol to the content of free radicals, electrical impedance values, and microscopic images of organ damage. The treatments and observations were carried out using the various method of the day. The content of free radicals is identified using the ESR (Electron Spin Resonance) test through Lissajous curve readings. Measurement of electrical impedance is done using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, then compared with the value of permittivity and resistivity. Organ damage was seen microscopically by observing the presence of emphysema, destruction of the alveolar septum (DSA), and thickening of the alveolar septum. Free radicals are detected in the lungs of mice, the superoxide anion (O2−) . The value of impedance, permittivity, and resistivity tends to decrease with an increasing number of days of exposure. The provision of antioxidants showed an increase in the value of electrical impedance, permittivity, and resistivity followed by a decrease in the intensity of free radicals and the amount of damage microscopically.
