Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan variasi spasial keragaman dan kelimpahan spesies anggrek epifit, karakteristik inangnya dan variasi iklim mikro habitat di Taman Anggrek Ranu Darungan, Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru (TNBTS). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode sensus di setiap zona pada bulan Agustus 2019 hingga Juni 2020. Spesies anggrek epifit diamati kelimpahan dan kekayaan taksa secara zona horizontal dan vertikal pada tumbuhan inang. Tumbuhan inang diamati tinggi, diameter dan profil permukaan batang. Dilakukan pula pengukuran faktor iklim mikro meliputi intesitas cahaya, suhu udara dan kelembapan udara di setiap zona. Data spesies, kelimpahan anggrek epifit dan iklim mikro ditabulasi dan dianalisis secara stastistik deskriptif. Selanjutnya ditentukan indeks diversitas, kekayaan taksa secara horizontal maupun vertikal. Data spesies anggrek dan iklim mikro dianalisis menggunakan PCA. Data koordinat diintegrasikan ke Google Earth untuk pemetaan anggrek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tercatat 130 spesies anggrek epifit yang berada di taman anggrek dengan kelimpahan anggrek paling tinggi untuk distribusi secara horizontal yaitu zona D dan distribusi vertikal yaitu zona ke-2. Karakteristik umum pada tumbuhan inang yaitu tumbuhan berkayu dengan permukaan batang kasar dan ada pula yang berduri. Variasi spasial iklim mikro antar zona horizontal tidak sebesar variasi diurnal. Zona D ditumbuhi anggrek lebih banyak seiring dengan kelimpahan inang, kelembapan dan suhu serta intensitas cahaya yang optimal.

English Abstract

The aims of this study were to determine the spatial variation of epiphytic orchid species diversity and abundance, to determine their host characteristics and their diversity of micro-habitats in the Orchid Garden Ranu Darungan, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (BTSNP). The study was conducted using the census method of each zone from August 2019 to June 2020. Epiphytic orchid species abundance and taxa richness in the horizontal and vertical zones of host plants. Besides, plant height, diameter, and trunk/stem surface profile were recorded. The light intensity, air temperature, and relative humidity in each zone were measured simultaneously. Data of species, and abundance of epiphytic, as well as micro-climate were analyzed univariately and multivariately by using a descriptive statistics. Furthermore, the spatial variation of diversity index and taxa richness were determined horizontally and vertically. Data on orchid and microbus species were analyzed using PCA. Coordinate data was integrated into the Google Earth for mapping orchid. The results showed that 130 epiphytic orchid species were found in the garden. The highest abundance of orchids was horizontally distributed in the zone D and vertically was zone 2. The general characteristics of their host plants were woody, rough bark and some times spiny. Spatial variation of microclimate among horizontal zones was lower than diurnal one. We recorded a higher orchid density in the Zona D following their host abundance, as well as supported by an optimal air temperature, relative humidity and sunlight intensity.
