Abstract
Hutan Brawijaya (UB Forest) merupakan area yang dikelola Universitas Brawijaya yang letaknya berdekatan dengan TAHURA R.SOERJO. Lanskap ekosistem UB Forest meliputi hutan sekunder, hutan produksi bersistem agroforestri, dan sebagian kecil pemukiman sehingga berpotensi sebagai habitat alternatif bagi burung diurnal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari diversitas burung diurnal terbaru serta menentukan distribusi spasial dan temporal di UB Forest. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama bulan Desember 2019- Februari 2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah line transect dengan intersect pada dua jalur pengamatan. Data yang didapat dikonfirmasi menggunakan buku panduan lapang dan aplikasi burungnesia. Analisis data komunitas menggunakan Indeks Nilai Penting (INP), Indeks Diversitas Shannon-Wiener (H‟), Indeks Kelimpahan dan Densitas Line Intersect, sedangkan distribusi spasial menggunakan Indeks Dispersi Moristas. Hasil penelitian menujukkan keseluruhan 51 jenis burung dari 27 famili dan 8 Ordo ditemukan selama pengamatan. Jalur 1 ditemukan 43 jenis sedangkan jalur 2 sebanyak 39 jenis. Struktur komunitas menujukkan dominasi antara burung Cucak Kutilang (Pycnonotus aurigaster) dan Sepah Kecil (Pericrocrotus cinnamomeus). Jalur 1 memiliki H‟ sebesar 4,49 dan jalur 2 sebesar 4,04 sehingga diversitas burungnya sangatlah tinggi. Distribusi spasial menujukkan bahwa sebagian besar burung mempunyai pola sebaran seragam dalam patch habitat. Distribusi temporal menujukkan bahwa jumlah diversitas burung tiap bulan cenderung menurun.
English Abstract
UB Forest is an area managed by Brawijaya university which located close to TAHURA R.SOERJO. UB Forest's ecosystem landscape includes secondary forests, agroforestry production forests and a small number of settlements so that it has the potential as an alternative habitat for diurnal birds. This study aims to study the diversity of the latest diurnal birds and determine the spatial and temporal distribution in UB Forest. The study was conducted during December 2019-February 2020. The method used is the line transect with intersect on two observation paths. The data obtained was confirmed using a field guide book and Burungnesia application. Community data analysis uses the Importance Value Index (INP), Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index (H '), Intersect Line Abundance Index and Density Index, while the spatial distribution uses the Moristas Dispersion Index. The results showed that all 51 birds species from 27 families and 8 orders were found during the observation. Lane 1 found 43 species while lane 2 were 39 species. The community structure shows the dominance between the Sooty-headed bulbul (Pycnonotus aurigaster) and Small minivet (Pericrocrotus cinnamomeus). Line 1 has an H 'of 4.49 and line 2 of 4.04 which indicate diversity of birds is very high. Spatial distribution shows that most birds have uniform distribution patterns in habitat patches. Temporal distribution shows that the amount of bird diversity per month tends to decrease.
