Abstract

Industri Pelayanan masyarakat terutama di bidang perhotelan merupakan industri yang yang tengah bertumbuh sangat pesat saat ini menuntut entitas bisnis untuk memiliki sistem informasi yang baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan mencapai tujuan perusahaan untuk bersaing di pasar. Hotel X sebagai salah satu perusahaan pelayanan yang memiliki pangsa pasar domestik juga menghadapi masalah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memahami implementasi sistem informasi akuntansi terhadap hasil kinerja karyawan yang diterapkan pada sistem sistem informasi akuntansi siklus penghasilan dan pengeluaran Hotel X dan memberikan rekomendasi atas kelemahan yang ditemukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode interpretif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Data dalam metode ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa Hotel X telah menerapkan kriteria sistem informasi akuntansi menurut systems characteristics of business firm tetapi masih memerlukan beberapa perbaikan. Perbaikan perlu dilakukan pada sisi pembuatan formulir dan peraturan yang berlaku dalam penggunaan sistem informasi.

English Abstract

Service industry especially in the field of hospitality is a growing industry that currently demands a business entity to have a good information system so as to improve performance and achieve the company objectives to Competing in the market. Hotel X as one of the service industry that has a domestic market share also face problems. This research aims to understand the implementation of accounting information system for employee performance results applied in Hotel X's income and expense cycle accounting information system and provides recommendations on weaknesses found. The method used in this study is a qualitative interpretive method with a field study approach. The Data in this method is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it is noted that Hotel X has adopted criteria of accounting information system according to systems characteristics of business firm but still requires some improvement. Improvements need to be made on the form creation and the applicable regulations in the use of information systems.
