English Abstract
The provision of a mass transportation system in form of Trans Kota Tangerang is one of the efforts of the Tangerang City Government to minimize or suppress the number of private vehicles. Trans Kota Tangerang which started operating on December 1, 2016 with the hope of being able to provide public transportation facilities that are comfortable, safe, clean, and fast. Along with the addition and the absence of regulations that regulate the number of private vehicles, Trans Kota Tangerang providers must be able to compete properly through various ways to attract private vehicle users to use Trans Kota Tangerang, for example by providing services of better quality, affordable prices, fast service and so on. Therefore, this study is intended to determine the performance of Trans Kota Tangerang services by measuring the level of service and the probability of modal shift by calculating the modal shift opportunities from private vehicles to Trans Kota Tangerang so that appropriate service strategies can be formulated. Measurement of the modal shift probability is carried out using the results of the multinomial logit regression analysis modeling and important performance analysis where the modal shift probability under the best scenario is estimated to increase the probability of using Trans Kota Tangerang vehicles from 54% to 99%.
