Inayah, Durrotul (2020) Variasi Individual Pertumbuhan Vegetatif dan Generatif Anggrek Spesies Terestrial di Taman Anggrek Ranu Darungan TNBTS. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The aims of this research were to determine some profile of terrestrial abiotic factors, to analyze the individual variations in vegetative and generative growth of some terrestrial wild orchids, and to compare the congeneric species phenology at the Orchids Garden of Ranu Darungan, the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (BTSNP). Terrestrial abiotic factors measured in each zone were air temperature, light intensity, relative humidity, soil organic matter, pH and moisture. Thirty one species orchids were observed for vegetative and generative growth of some specimen by purposive sampling from July 2019 to January 2020. Abiotic factors and phenology data were analyzed using statistical descriptive method with Microsoft Excel and principle component analysis to compare the phenology between the congeneric species. Results showed monthly variations of microclimate and edaphic factors were triggered by seasonal variations except soil pH. July to October were dry months, while November to January were wet months. These variations affected the phenology of most orchids (95%). Moreover these species (90.9%) showed a variation of shoot and flowering/fruiting growth. Furthermore, 50% of shoot growth was followed by flowering activity. Among them, Arundina graminifolia was blooming throughout the observation period. All of congeneric species showed some phenological variations, however, there was a slight variation in the shoot growth. Acanthephippium javanicum, Calanthe triplicata and Phaius tankervilliae were actively blooming.
