Abstract

Telah dilakukan uji coba perangkat lunak Vsim untuk pemodelan pembangkitan plasma gelombang mikro. Model didesain menyerupai launcher Magnetron 2.45 GHz dengan ukuran 0.1 meter persergi gelombang mikro dengan gas Argon yang dionisasikan. Reaksi yang terjadi meliputi Elastic, Impact Excitation, dan Impact Ionization. Hasil pemodelan menunjukan adanya peningkatan energi elektron seiring berjalannya waktu. Peningkatan jumlah partikel

English Abstract

Microwave plasma discharge has been simulated on VSim, a high-performance computation for electromagnetics and plasmas. The simulation base design on magnetron 2.45 GHz launcher with 0.1 meter square size microwaves with ionized argon gases. There are three reaction that happened in this simulation elastic, excitation, and ionization. The simulation result showing electron energy incearsed over time. The amount of argon ion and electron particle increasing in singular. There is a change-over for the magnetic and electric field of microwaves when interacted with the particle.
