Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan di Unit Lokal Inseminasi Buatan (ULIB) Kabupaten Demak Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 5 November 2019 sampai 5 Desember 2019. Penentuan lokasi sampel penelitian diambil secara langsung yaitu dengan pemilihan subyek berdasarkan sifat yang sudah ditentukan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai umur terhadap performan reproduksi induk sapi SIMPO di Unit Lokal Inseminasi Buatan (ULIB) Kabupaten Demak yang meliputi Days Open, Service per Conception, dan Conception rate. Kegunaan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berguna sebagai pengetahuan dalam meningkatkan pengelolaan induk persilangan sapi SIMPO di Kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performan induk sapi SIMPO pada umur 3, umur 4, umur 5 dan umur 6 tahun meliputi DO, S/C dan CR yang sudah di bandingkan dengan standard ideal performan reproduksi. . Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari data sekunder Inseminator antara lain: cacatan pelaksanaan IB yang dilaksanakan darijanuari 2017 sampai dengan Maret 2019 dan catatan umur induk. Sapi yang diteliti merupakan jenis sapi SIMPO persilangan antara Simmental dengan PO. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti 160 sampel dari totatotal populasi 236 ekor betina produktif untuk menghindari kematian, afkir dan dijual. Umur yang diteliti terdiri dari 4 kelompok yakni: umur 3, umur 4, umur 5 dan umur 6 tahun. Setiap kelompok umur akan mendapatkan 40 sampel agar sebaran sama perkelempok Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi kasus dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder. pendugaan umur, wawancara dengan para peternak dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan. Kemudian akan dicocokkan dengan data sekunder yang mencakup data pencatatan performan reproduksi dari inseminator Kabupaten Demak. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah DO, S/C dan CR. Data yang diperoleh dirata-rata, dianalisa statistik menggunkan chi square. Dan dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai DO Sapi SIMPO pada umur 3, 4, 5, 6 tahun berturut-turut yaitu 132,875+19,26 hari, 132,85+19,94 hari, 133,725+21,52 hari dan 134,825+23,24 hari. Rata-rata nilai S/C Sapi SIMPO pada umur 3, 4, 5, 6 tahun berturut-turut yaitu 1.975+0,69 kali, 1,85+0,76 kali, 2+0,81 kali dan 2+0,87 kali. Rata-rata nilai CR Sapi SIMPO pada umur 3, 4, 5, 6 tahun berturut-turut yaitu 25+0,43%, 37,5+0,49 %, 32,5+0,47% dan 37,5+0,49 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah performan induk sapi SIMPO pada umur 3, umur 4, umur 5 dan umur 6 tahun hanya pada DO dan S/C saja yang sesuai dengan standard ideal performan reproduksi dan pada umur 4 tahun setelah dibandingkan dengan standard ideal performan reproduksi mempunyai nilai lebih baik daripada umur 3, umur 5 dan umur 6 tahun.

English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of SIMPO cows at age 3, age 4, age 5 and age 6 years including DO, S / C and CR which have been compared with the ideal standard of reproductive performance.The material used in this research obtained from secondary data from the inseminator, such as records of IB Implementation carried out from January 2017 to March 2019 and the parent age record. The cow used in this research is SIMPO cow which is breeds beetween Simmental and PO. The number of samples in this research was 160 samples from total population of 236 productive female tails to avoid the death, reject and sold. The age of of the SIMPO studied consisted of 4 groups namely: age 3, age 4, age 5 and age 6 years. Each age groups will get many 40 samples so that the distribution was same as a group. 160 simmental ongole crossbreed cow devided into 4 ages groups, for each age groups contains 40 cattles. The research method used in this research is a case study by collecting primary and secondary data. Age estimation, interviews with farmers and actively participates in the activities. Then it will be matched with secondary data that includes data on recording the reproductive performance of Demak Inseminator. The variables observed in this research were DO, S/C and CR. Data obtained averaged, analyzed statistically using chi square and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the DO, S/C and CR values of Simmental ongole crossbreed cow at ages 3,4,5 and 6 years. The calculated values obtained 132,875+19,26 days, 132,85+19,94 days, 133,725+21,52 and 134,825+23,24 days for DO and 1.975+0,69 times, 1,85+0,76 times, 2+0,81 times and 2+0,87 times and 25+0,43%, 37,5+0,49%, 32,5+0,47% and 37,5+0,49 % for CR. The Conclusion of this study show that after comparing with the reproductive performance of SIMPO Cow at ages 3,4,5 and 6 years for DO and S/C performance is appropriate. While, CR Performance is not appropriate. SIMPO cow at the age of 4 years have performance results after being compared with reproductive performances standards.
