Abstract

Tenun Ikat Medali Mas merupakan perusahaan dalam bidang produksi tekstil dan perdagangan umum yang terletak di Kota Kediri, Jawa Timur. Kain Tenun Ikat Medali Mas adalah sejenis kain yang diberi gambar ragam hias seperti motif bunga, motif air dan lain-lain dengan warna tertentu dan motif secara tradisional atau modifikasi berbasis kearifan lokal budaya Kediri. Produk yang dibuat pada UMKM ini pengerjaannya dilakukan secara manual oleh tangan pekerja. Banyaknya proses yang harus dilakukan dan banyaknya pekerja menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja sering terjadi. Pada tahun 2018 tercatat bahwa UMKM Tenun Ikat Medali Mas terdapat 22 jenis keluhan terkait kecelakaan kerja dengan total 79 pekerja menjadi korban dari kecelakaan kerja di UMKM ini. Banyaknya kecelakaan maupun penyakit akibat kerja yang terjadi di UMKM ini mengakibatkan terdapat biaya khusus untuk melakukan pengobatan terhadap pekerja yang mengalami kecelakaan. Selain itu kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja dapat menghambat produktivitas saat melakukan proses produksi di UMKM Tenun Ikat Medali Mas. Metodologi HIRA digunakan untuk membantu peneliti untuk menentukan potensi bahaya maupun kecelakaan yang paling besar dampaknya. Metode ini juga berfungsi untuk menjabarkan potensi bahaya dan kecelakaan apa saja yang terdapat pada proses produksi Tenun Ikat Medali Mas. Kategori dari risiko akan terbagi menjadi 4 yaitu risk low, risk moderate, risk high, dan risk extreme. Setelah sumber bahaya dan risiko di kategorikan maka selanjutnya akan dicari akar penyebab masalah menggunakan metode Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Metode RCA berfungsi untuk menjabarkan penyebab masalah dari suatu sumber bahaya atau kecelakaan menjadi suatu akar masalah yang tidak dapat di pecah lagi. Setelah mendapatkan akar masalah dari setiap sumber bahaya dan kecelakaan yang ada, maka selanjutnya akan dibuat rancangan rekomendasi perbaikan. Rancangan rekomendasi perbaikan yang akan dibuat tidak akan terbatas pada satu metode, namun akan menyesuaikan dengan akar masalah yang ada nantinya. Jumlah rekomendasi perbaikan itu sendiri sejumlah dengan jumlah akar masalah yang ada sehingga seluruh akar permasalahan yang menyebabkan kecelakaan dapat diperbaiki dan menekan biaya untuk dampak kecelakaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode HIRA dan RCA menunjukkan ada 6 sumber bahaya yang teridentifikasi sebagai risk extreme dan 1 sumber bahaya dengan kategori risk high. Sumber bahaya dengan kategori risk extreme adalah posisi tubuh pekerja yang salah dan terus menerus bekerja, bahan kimia korosif, arus listrik, alat kerja tidak layak pakai, lantai licin, dan air panas bersuhu 90ºC terletak di jalan, serta kondisi lingkungan kerja untuk kategori risk high. Setelah mengetahui beberapa kategori risk extreme dan risk high serta akar masalahnya maka akan dibuat rekomendasi perbaikan untuk menjawab akar masalah yang ada. Rancangan perbaikan tersebut antara lain pemberian materi dasar K3 untuk pekerja, penyediaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) untuk setiap kategori akar masalah, pembuatan worksheet penggunaan APD, perbaikan postur kerja, rancangan tempat pencelupan yang sesuai, pemberian tanda bahan kimia berbahaya, pembuatan SOP untuk peletakkan air panas dan SOP lantai licin, penggunaan airplug, pembuatan daftar riwayat pemakaian alat kerja dan penggunaan safety gloves untuk arus listrik.

English Abstract

Tenun Ikat Medali Mas is a company in the field of textile production and general trade, located in the City of Kediri, East Java. Tenun Ikat Medali Mas Fabric is a type of fabric that is given a variety of decorative images such as floral motifs, water motifs and others with certain colors and motifs traditionally or modifications based on local wisdom of Kediri culture. The products made at UMKM works manually by the hands of workers. The many processes that must be carried out and the large number of workers causing workplace accidents often occured. In 2018 it was noted that there were 22 types of complaints related to work accident UMKM with a total of 79 workers being victims of work accidents in this UMKM. The number of accidents and illnesses caused by work that occur in SMEs has resulted in special costs for treatment of workers who have accidents. Besides work accidents and work-related illnesses can hamper productivity while doing the production process in the Tenun Ikat Medali Mas sector. The HIRA methodology is used to help researchers determine the potential hazards and accidents with the greatest impact. This method also serves to describe the potential hazards and accidents that are present in the production process of the Tenun Ikat Medali Mas. The categories of risk will be divided into 4 namely: risk low, moderate risk, high risk, and extreme risk. After the source of danger and risk are categorized, then the root cause of the problem will be searched using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method. RCA method serves to describe the cause of a problem from a source of danger or accident into a root problem that can not be divide again. After getting the root of the problem from each source of danger and accident, then a draft recommendation for improvement will be made. The draft recommendations for improvement that will be made will not be limited to one method, but will adjust to the root of the problem later. The number of recommendations for improvement itself is equal to the number of root problems that exist so that all root causes that cause accidents can be fixed and reduce costs for the impact of the accident. The results of the study using the HIRA and RCA methods show that there are 6 sources of danger identified as extreme risk and 1 source of danger with a high risk category. Sources of danger with extreme risk categories are the wrong body position and continuous work, corrosive chemicals, electric current, unsuitable work tools, slippery floors, and hot water with a temperature of 90ºC located on the road, as well as working environment conditions for the risk high category. After knowing some extreme risk and high risk categories as well as the root of the problem, recommendations for improvement will be made to the root causes. The improvement plan includes the provision of basic K3 materials for workers, the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each category of root problems, the making of PPE use worksheets, improvement of work postures, design of suitable dyeing places, marking of hazardous chemicals, manufacturing of SOPs for laying down hot water and slippery floor SOPs, use of airplugs, making a history list of work equipment usage and use of safety gloves for electric current.
