Panggabean, Irwandi (2020) Pengaruh Dosis Pupuk Granul Organik Dan Pemberian PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting) Terdadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Maize (Zea mays L.) is one of the important needs for human and animal life. The need for maize in Indonesia for consumption increases by around 5.16% per year while the demand for animal feed and industrial raw materials rises by around 10.87% per year. In addition, the provision of PGPR is also able to increase yields from maize crop production. PGPR is an active bacterium that colonizes plant roots by having an important role in increasing plant growth, crop yields and soil fertility. The hypothesis in this study is the application of PGPR by soaking and spraying, will provide optimal results. The use of organik fertilizer granules with and administration of PGPR can increase the growth and yield of maize (Zea mays L.). The study was conducted in December to March 2019 in Kepuharjo Village, Kab. Poor. The first factor is the administration of PGPR with 3 levels namely, P0: Without PGPR (control), P1: Soaking seeds with PGPR, P2: Soaking + Spraying PGPR. The second factor is the dose of organik fertilizer granules with 3 levels namely, K1: No Organik Fertilizer (control), K2: Granule Organik Fertilizer 2 ton ha-1, K3: Granule Organik Fertilizer 4 tons ha-1. From the treatment 9 combinations were obtained and were repeated 3 times to obtain 27 experimental plots. Each plot is filled with 128 plants. The total population is 3,456 plants. The results showed that there was an interaction between the treatment of doses and the application of PGPR on the parameters of observation of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area index, fresh weight of plants, dry weight of plants, weight of cobs without kelobot and weight of cobs with kelobot. However, the parameters observed were plant height and number of leaves that experienced interactions at 42 HST and 56 HST. Whereas the observations of 14 HST, 28 HST, 70 HST and 84 HST did not experience an interaction between the treatment of organik fertilizer granule doses with the application of PGPR.
