Abstract
Selama 52 tahun Kolombia dilanda konflik internal antara Pemerintah Kolombia dan FARC (Kelompok Bersenjata Revolusioner Kolombia). Beberapa upaya perdamaian terdahulu gagal mendorong kedua pihak berkonflik mencapai kesepakatan damai. Hingga pada tanggal 24 November 2016 Pemerintah Kolombia dan FARC berhasil menandatangani Final Agreement for Ending The Conflict and Building A Stable and Lasting Peace yang secara resmi mengakhiri konflik Kolombia. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pre-negosiasi (2010-2012) hingga proses resmi negosiasi damai antara Pemerintah Kolombia dengan FARC pada tahun 2012-2016 yang dikenal dengan Havana Process. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif yang menggunakan Teori Readiness oleh Dean G. Pruitt untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan tercapainya kesepakatan damai melalui dua variabel yaitu motivation to end conflict dan optimism
English Abstract
For 52 years Colombia was plagued by internal conflicts between the Colombian Government and the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia). Previous peace efforts failed to encourage the adversaries to reach a peace agreement. Until November 24, 2016 the Government of Colombia and FARC successfully signed the Final Agreement for Ending The Conflict and Building A Stable and Lasting Peace which officially ended the Colombian conflict. This study examines the pre-negotiation (2010-2012) to the official peace negotiation process between the Colombian Government and the FARC in 2012-2016, known as the Havana Process. This research is a descriptive-qualitative study using Readiness Theory by Dean G. Pruitt to explain the factors that led to the achievement of a peace agreement through two variables, namely motivation to end conflict and optimism.
