Abstract
Analisis regresi logistik ordinal merupakan teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk mempelajari hubungan antar peubah respon berskala data ordinal dan peubah prediktor berskala data campuran. Model yang digunakan adalah model logit kumulatif yang ditunjukkan dalam peluang kumulatif kejadian pada kelompok kategori peubah respon. Perguruan tinggi sebagai lembaga pendidikan memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan lulusan terbaik yang dilihat dalam capaian nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar peluang mahasiswa dalam FMIPA Universitas Brawijaya termasuk dalam kelompok IPK rendah, sedang, tinggi atau sangat tinggi dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa memperoleh kelompok kategori nilai IPK beragam, di antaranya adalah jenis kelamin (sebagai peubah dummy), status tempat tinggal, asal daerah, lama belajar, gaya belajar, jalur penerimaan, pilihan jurusan, status beasiswa, biaya hidup per bulan, keaktifan organisasi dan pengalaman kerja selama kuliah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pemodelan regresi logistik berlaku bagi jenis kelamin laki-laki maupun perempuan. Hasil pengujian akurasi model regresi logistik ordinal adalah sebesar 71,33%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 28,67% tidak tepat mengklasifikasi model regresi logistik ordinal.
English Abstract
Ordinal logistic regression analysis is an analytical technique used to study the relationships between ordinal data scale response variables and mixed data scale predictor variables. The model used is the cumulative logit model which is shown in the cumulative chance of occurrence in the response variable category group. Higher education as an educational institution has the aim to produce the best graduates seen in the achievement of cumulative achievement index scores. This study aims to determine the opportunities for students in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Universitas Brawijaya, including in the group of low, medium, high or very high GPA by considering the factors that influence it. As for the factors that cause students to obtain a diverse GPA score category groups, among them are gender (as a dummy variable), status of residence, area of origin, length of study, learning style, admission path, majors, scholarship status, living expenses per month, organizational activity and work experience during college. The results of this study indicate that logistic regression modeling applies to the sexes of men and women. The results of testing the accuracy of the ordinal logistic regression model amounted to 71.33%, while the remaining 28.67% incorrectly classified the ordinal logistic regression model
