Alvionita, Nilla (2019) Pengontrolan Temperatur Pemanasan Pada Ohmic Heating Menggunakan Arduino Uno Berbasis Logika Fuzzy. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Fuel oil (BBM) is fossil energy that is non-renewable, so alternative energy is needed. One of them is bioethanol. In the existing studies, bioethanol pretreatment is carried out with various processes and methods. However, it is required for a long time, high temperature, and costs. One of the alternatives is using ohmic heating by applying fuzzy methods to control the heating temperature. Temperature control is done by controlling electric current which is entering the system by giving the PWM signal. This study is using Arduino as system control. This study aims to make and apply the temperature control system of ohmic heating and to determine the control system’s effect when it reaches 60°C, 75°C, and 85°C This study began with the preparation of the materials, such as 100 mesh of bagasse powder and 0.07 M of NaOH liquid. The next was making a design of the ohmic heating instrument, then try the temperature control on it by applying fuzzy by running Arduino Uno. The result showed a controlled system temperature. The data obtained was a stable temperature when it reached the setpoints. The time was needed by the system to reach 60°C was 2 mins 14 seconds. Meanwhile, for 75°C was 2 mins 43 seconds, and for 85°C was 3 mins 17 seconds. The effect of control systems toward the setpoints could be seen as the errors’ value. The error of the system when it reached 60°C was +0.4 and -0.2. Then, the error value when 75°C was +0.6 and -0.3. And the error value of the system when it reached 85°C was +0.7 and -0.6
