Abstract

Mata air merupakan pemunculan air tanah ke permukaan tanah karena muka air tanah terpotong, sehingga di titik tersebut air tanah keluar sebagai mata air atau rembesan. Desa Tawangsari bagian utara meliputi Dusun Ngebrong dan Dusun Gerih. Dusun tersebut sebagian besar aktifitas yang dilakukan adalah bertani dan sebagian besar wilayah Tawangsari bagian utara dipenuhi dengan kawasan pertanian. Desa Tawangsari memiliki potensi yang cukup besar baik yang sudah dimanfaatkan maupun yang belum dimanfaatkan. Kawasan Tawangsari bagian utara terdapat beberapa tanaman diantaranya adalah wortel, bawang, apel, jeruk, hydrangea, dan tomat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan status mutu mata air kawasan Tawangsari bagian utara. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode grab sampling kemudian sampel di uji secara langsung (pH, temperatur dan DO (Dissolved Oxygen) di lokasi dan pengujian pada laboratorium. Parameter yang diuji dalam penelitian ini yaitu BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), DO (Dissolved Oxygen), TSS (Total Suspended Solid), Temperatur, pH, Bau, Warna, Kesadahan, PO4 (Sulfat), NO3-N ((Nitrate Nitrogen), NO2-N (Nitrite Nitrogen), Ammonia dan Total Coliform. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode indeks pencemaran yang berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Republik Indonesia Nomor 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penentuan Status Mutu Air. Kondisi mata air pada daerah penelitian secara fisik baik dimana warna air bewarna bening dan tidak berbau. Klasifikasi mata air pada daerah penelitian berdasarkan pengalirannya termasuk mata airx tahunan dimana mata air mengeluarkan air sepanjang tahun. Ketersediaan mata air pada daerah penelitian sangat mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar sebagai mandi, cuci, kakus, irigasi, perkebunan, peternakan dan lain-lain. Kualitas mata air daerah penelitian pada umumnya memenuhi baku mutu kelas I. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Metode Indeks Pencemaran menunjukkan bahwa mata air pada daerah penelitian tercemar ringan. Nilai indeks pencemaran mata air Laharan Ngebrong sebesar 2,78 pada Laboratorium Perum Jasa Tirta, dan sebesar 1,15 pada Laboratorium TSAL, indeks pencemaran mata air Umbul Ngebrong sebesar 2,52 pada Laboratorium Perum Jasa Tirta dan sebesar 1,51 pada Laboratorium TSAL, dan indeks pencemaran mata air Laminten Gerih sebesar 2,57 pada Laboratorium Perum Jasa Tirta dan sebesar 1,11 pada Laboratorium TSAL. Debit ketiga pada mata air daerah penelitian cukup besar dimana debit mata air Laharan Ngebrong sebesar 0,18 liter/detik, mata air Umbul Ngebrong sebesar 0,25 liter/detik, dan mata air Laminten Gerih sebesar 1,165 liter/detik. Kualitas air pada ketiga mata air menunjukkan bahwa Desa Tawangsari dapat dijadikan Desa Ekowisata

English Abstract

Spring is the appearance of ground water to the surface of the ground because the water table is cut off, so that at that point the ground water comes out as a spring or seepage. The northern part of Tawangsari Village includes Ngebrong and Gerih Hamlets. Most of the village activities carried out were farming and most of the northern part of Tawangsari was filled with agricultural areas. Tawangsari Village has considerable potential both that has been utilized and that has not been utilized. The northern part of Tawangsari is a number of plants including carrots, onions, apples, oranges, hydrangeas, and tomatoes. This study aims to determine the quality status of the Tawangsari region's northern springs. Samples were taken using the grab sampling method then the samples were tested directly (pH, temperature and DO (Dissolved Oxygen) at the location and testing in the laboratory. The parameters tested in this study were BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), Dissolved Oxygen, TSS (Total Suspended Solid), Temperature, pH, Odor, Color, Hardness, PO4 (Sulphate), NO3-N (Nitrogen Nitrate), NO2-N (Nitrite Nitrogen), Ammonia and Total Coliform. The method used in this study uses a pollution index method based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia Number 115 of 2003 concerning Guidelines for Determining the Status of Water Quality. The condition of the spring in the study area is physically good where the color of the water is clear and does not smell. Classification of springs in the study area based on drainage includes annual springs where springs emit water throughout the year. The availability of springs in the study area is very sufficient for the needs of the surroundingxii community as bathing, washing, latrines, irrigation, plantations, livestock and others. The quality of springs in the study area generally meets class I quality standards. The results of calculations using the Pollution Index Method indicate that the springs in the study area were lightly polluted. The Ngebrong Laharan spring water pollution index value is 2.78 at Jasa Tirta Public Housing Laboratory, and 1.15 in TSAL Laboratory, Umbul Ngebrong spring pollution index is 2.52 at Jasa Tirta Public Corporation Laboratory and 1.51 in TSAL Laboratory, and the Laminten Gerih spring water pollution index of 2.57 at the Jasa Tirta Housing Laboratory and at 1.11 at the TSAL Laboratory. The third discharge in the spring of the study area is quite large where the Ngebrong Laharan spring discharge is 0.18 liters / second, the Umbul Ngebrong spring is 0.25 liters / second, and the Laminten Gerih spring is 1.165 liters / second. Water quality in all three springs shows that Tawangsari Village can be used as an Ecotourism Village
