Abstract
Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok semua makhluk hidup. Air juga digunakan manusia untuk keperluan industri, pertanian, pemadam kebakaran, tempat rekreasi, transportasi, dan lain-lain. Air begitu penting bagi kehidupan manusia, hewan, dan tanaman. Kelestarian air harus tetap dijaga agar kehidupan di muka bumi berlangsung selaras dan seimbang. Oleh karena itu ketersediaan air dalam kuantitas dan kualitas yang memadai tidak dapat ditawar lagi karena dapat berdampak terjadi konflik perebutan dan penguasaan sumber daya air. Seiring bertambahnya penduduk maka semakin tinggi pula kebutuhan air. Demikian juga kasus yang terjadi di Kota Blitar kebutuhan air bertambah terus beriring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk karena kelahiran maupun migrasi dari luar kota. Sedangkan sumber air Kota Blitar terbatas, bahkan saat ini sumber air Kota Blitar yang dipergunakan berasal dari Kota Malang maupun Kabupaten Blitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah proyeksi perkembangan penduduk Kota Blitar 10 tahun kedepan dan menentukan proyeksi kebutuhan air bersih kota Blitar 10 tahun kedepan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan cara menggunakan data sekunder pada Instansi – Instansi terkait.7 Untuk memproyeksikan kebutuhan air bersih Kota Blitar 10 tahun kedepan penulis mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber, seperti data Industri dari Dinas Perindustrian Kota Blitar, data Hotel dari Dinas Pariwisata Kota Blitar, data Penduduk dari Dinas Kependudukan Kota Blitar dan sebagainya. Setelah penulis mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan untuk memproyeksikan kebutuhan air bersih Kota Blitar, penulis memproyeksikan pertumbuhan penduduk Kota Blitar menggunakan metode Aritmetika dan Geometri. dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode diatas penulis mengambil data dari metode dengan nilai Koefisien Korelasi mendekati satu. Berdasarkan data proyeksi pertumbuhan penduduk itulah penulis dapat menganalisis proyeksi kebutuhan air bersih Kota Blitar 10 tahun kedepan menggunakan standar Kriteria Perencanaan Ditjen Cipta Karya Dinas PU, 1998.
English Abstract
Water is one of the basic necessities of all living creatures. Water is also used by humans for industrial, agricultural, fire fighter, recreation, transportation, and others. Water is so important for human life, animals, and plants. Water sustainability should be maintained to keep life on Earth in harmony and balance. Therefore, the availability of water in quantity and adequate quality can no longer be negotiable because it can impact the conflict of struggle and the mastery of water resources. As the population grows, the higher the water needs. The case in Blitar city needs to grow to continue to meet the population growth due to birth and migration from outside the city. While the water resources of Blitar City is limited, even today the water resources of Blitar are used from the city of Malang and Blitar. The purpose of this research is the projection of the population growth of Blitar 10 years ahead and determine the projection of clean water needs in Blitar 10 years ahead. The method used is a descriptive method by using secondary data on related agencies. Projection of clean water requirement at Blitar, for the next 10 years the author collects data from various sources, such as industrial data from the Blitar City Industrial service, Hotel data from the tourism office of Blitar City, the population data from the Population of Blitar. After the author collects the data needed to projection of clean water requirement at Blitar, the authors project the population growth of Blitar using arithmetic and9 geometry methods. From the calculation result using the above method The author retrieves data from the method with the correlation coefficient value close to 1. Based on projected data on population growth, the authors can analyse the Projection of clean water requirement at blitar city, 10 years in the future using the standard of Perencanaan Ditjen Cipta Karya Dinas PU, 1998
