Abstract

Hasil hutan non kayu yang banyak dimanfaatkan adalah getah pinus. Getah pinus diolah melalui proses distilasi untuk menghasilkan gondorukem dan terpentin. Namun seiring waktu, industri pengolahan getah pinus atau yang sering disebut Pabrik Gondorukem dan Terpentin (PGT) mengalami penurunan efektivitas dan efisiensi produksi akibat depresiasi mesin. Mesin yang mengalami depresiasi besar yaitu mesin pemasakan atau mesin distilasi. Hal ini tentu saja akan mempengaruhi kualitas produk serta ketidakseimbangan antaran cost produksi dan hasil jualnya. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengkajian mengenai efektvitas dan efisiensi mesin distilasi dilihat dari segi ekonomi pada proses produksi gondorukem dan terpentin. Selanjutnya mesin distilasi dikaji dan dibandingkan dengan penggunaan alternatif penggantian mesin baru. Alternatif penggantian berbasis pada pencapaian BEP berdasakan kapasitas produksi.

English Abstract

Non-timber forest products are widely used is pine sap. Pine sap is processed through a distillation process to produce gum rosin and turpentine. But over time, the pine processing industry or often called the Gondorukem and Turpentine Factory (PGT) has decreased the effectiveness and efficiency of production due to machine depreciation. This of course will affect the quality of the product as well as the imbalance between the cost of production and the sale. This research will be carried out assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of the distillation machine in terms of the economy in the production process gum rosin and turpentine. Then the distillation machine is examined and compared with the use of alternative replacement of new engines.
