Abstract
Jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata L.) adalah salah satu tanaman yang menjadi sumber makanan yang banyak dibutuhkan dan diminati masyarakat Indonesia. Perlu adanya upaya dalam meningkatkan produksi jagung manis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Peningkatan produksi dapat dilakukan melalui program intensifikasi pertanian, misalnya dengan pemberian pupuk yang tepat. Penggunaan pupuk anorganik tanpa adanya upaya penyeimbangan selalu diikuti dengan masalah lingkungan, baik terhadap kesuburan biologis maupun kondisi fisik tanah serta dampak pada konsumen. Percobaan akan dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret sampai Juni 2019 di lahan percobaan Fakultas Petanian Universitas Brawijaya. Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 8 kombinasi perlakuan antara lain : P1 (20 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam), P2 (50 kg ha-1 KCl), P3 (18 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 7,5 kg ha-1 KCl), P4 (15 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 15 kg ha-1 KCl), P5 (12 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 22,5 kg ha-1 KCl), P6 (9 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 30 kg ha-1 KCl), P7 (6 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 37,5 kg ha-1 KCl), P8 (3 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 45 kg ha-1 KCl) Penentuan persentase KCl didasarkan dosis rekomendasi pada tanaman jagung. Setiap perlakuan diulang 4 kali, sehingga terdapat 32 unit perlakuan. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan interval 14 hari pada saat tanaman berumur 14, 28, 42 dan 56 hst dan pengamatan hasil panen. Pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi pengamatan pertumbuhan dan pengamatan hasil. Pengamatan pertumbuhan yaitu pertumbuhan tinggi, jumlah daun, luas daun dan panjang akar. Pengamatan hasil terdiri dari panjang tongkol, diameter tongkol, berat tongkol dengan kelobot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot, kadar manis, hasil ton per hektar dan analisis usaha tani. Data pengamatan yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F) pada taraf 5%. Apabila berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan perbandingan antar perlakuan dengan menggunakan uji beda nyata jujur (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam dan KCl berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis. Hasil analisis pertumbuhan pemupukan 15 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 15 kg ha-1 KCl lebih baik dan tidak berbeda nyata dengan pemupukan 18 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 7,5 kg ha-1 KCl, dan 12 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 22,5 kg ha-1 KCl namun berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lainnya. Analisis hasil panen pemupukan 18 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 7,5 kg ha-1 KCl lebih baik dan tidak berbeda nyata dengan pemupukan 15 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 15 kg ha-1 KCl, 12 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 22,5 kg ha-1 KCl. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan 18 ton ha-1 Pupuk Kandang Ayam + 7,5 kg ha-1 KCl dapat mengurangi penggunaan KCl dengan dosis yang tinggi pada budidaya jagung manis dan merupakan pemupukan dengan hasil lebih tinggi 8,79 ton ha-1 dengan R/C ratio sebesar 1,69.
English Abstract
Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.) is one of the plants that is a source of food that is needed and demanded by the people of Indonesia. Efforts should be made to increase sweet corn production to meet market needs. Increased production can be done through agricultural intensification programs, for example by providing appropriate fertilizers. The use of inorganic fertilizers without any balancing efforts is always followed by environmental problems, both on biological fertility and the physical condition of the soil as well as the impact on consumers. The experiment will be held from March to June 2019 in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya. This experiment used a Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with 8 treatment combinations including: P1(20 tons ha-1 chicken manure), P2 (50 kg ha-1 KCl), P3 (18 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 7.5 kg ha-1 KCl), P4 (15 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 15 kg ha-1 KCl), P5 (12 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 22.5 kg ha-1 KCl), P6 (9 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 30 kg ha-1 KCl), P7 (6 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 37.5 kg ha-1 KCl), P8 (3 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 45 kg ha-1 KCl). Determination of percentage of KCl based on recommended dosage on corn plants . Each treatment was repeated 4 times, so there were 32 treatment units. Observations were carried out at intervals of 14 days when the plants were 14, 28, 42 and 56 dap and observed yields. Observations made include observing growth and observing results. Growth observation is height growth, number of leaves, leaf area and root length. Observation of the results consisted of the length of the cob, the diameter of the cob, the weight of the cob with kelobot, the weight of the cob without kelobot, sweet content, yield of tons per hectare and analysis of farming. Observational data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) at 5% level. If it has a significant effect, then it is continued with the comparison between treatments by using the real honest difference test (BNT) at the 5% level. The results showed that the treatment of chicken manure and KCl significantly affected the growth and yield of sweet corn. The results of the analysis of the growth of fertilizing 15 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 15 kg ha-1 KCl is better and not significantly different from fertilizing 18 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 7.5 kg ha-1 KCl, and 12 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 22.5 kg ha-1 KCl but significantly different from other treatments. Analysis of the yield of fertilizing 18 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 7.5 kg ha-1 KCl is better and not significantly different from fertilizing 15 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 15 kg ha-1 KCl, 12 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 22.5 kg ha-1 KCl. So it can be concluded that the treatment of 18 tons ha-1 Chicken Manure + 7.5 kg ha-1 KCl can reduce the use of KCl with high doses in sweet corn cultivation and is fertilizing with a higher yield of 8.79 tons ha-1 with an R / C ratio of 1.69.
