Abstract
Pada periode tertentu cabai mengalami peningkatan harga yang cukup drastis. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kebutuhan cabai semakin meningkat namun produksi cabai cenderung fluktuatif. Adapun Faktor yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan cabai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yaitu penurunan produksi cabai, penurunan luas lahan pertanian, dan penurunan kesuburan tanah. Salah satu Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi cabai besar yaitu dengan pengaplikasian pupuk daun yang lebih efektif dapat diserap langsung oleh tanaman melalui daun yang diaplikasikan dengan waktu yang tepat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interval waktu aplikasi pupuk daun dan jenis pupuk daun terhadap pertumbuhan, produksi, dan kesuburan tanah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2017 hingga Maret 2018 yang bertempat di Agro Techno Park, Desa Jatikerto, Kecamatan Kromengan, Kabupaten Malang. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan jumlah 8 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas I1P1: Interval Aplikasi 7 Hari dan Pupuk Daun A (pupuk daun); I2P1: Interval Aplikasi 14 Hari dan Pupuk Daun A (pupuk daun); I3P1: Interval Aplikasi 21 Hari dan Pupuk Daun A (pupuk daun); I4P1: Interval Aplikasi 28 Hari dan Pupuk Daun A (pupuk daun); I1P2: Interval Aplikasi 7 Hari dan Pupuk Daun B (pupuk daun + 100% NAA); I2P2: Interval Aplikasi 14 Hari dan Pupuk Daun B (pupuk daun + 100% NAA); I3P2: Interval Aplikasi 21 Hari dan Pupuk Daun B (pupuk daun + 100% NAA); I4P2: Interval Aplikasi 14 Hari dan Pupuk Daun B (pupuk daun + 100% NAA). Variabel yang diamati yaitu pertumbuhan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah buah dan jumlah bunga, produksi tanaman dan analisa tanah meliputi pH, N-total, P-tersedia, K-tersedia, C-organik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh interval waktu aplikasi dan jenis pupuk daun yang berbeda terhadap jumlah bunga pada 8 MST dan panen ke 13 di tanaman cabai besar (Capsicum annum L.) pada tanah Alfisol, Selain itu, terdapat korelasi kandungan NPK dalam tanah terhadap pertumbuhan, produksi dan kesuburan tsnsh setelah perlakuan tersebut diaplikasikan.

Effect of Time Interval of Application and Type of Leaf Fertilizer on Growth, Production, and Soil Fertility in Large Chili Plants (Capsicum annum L.). Under the guidance of Moch. Munir as main advisor dan Syahrul Kurniawan as second Counselor In a certain period of chili prices have increased quite dramatically. That is because the needs of chili are increasing but the production of chili tends to fluctuate. The factors that influence the availability of chili to meet the needs are the decrease in chili production, decrease in agricultural land area, and decrease soil fertility. One effort that can be done to increase the production of large chili is by applying a more effective leaf fertilizer which can be absorbed directly by plants through the leaves which are applied in a timely manner. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the time interval of application of leaf fertilizer and the type of leaf fertilizer on soil growth, production, and fertility. The study was conducted in November 2017 to March 2018 which was located in Agro Techno Park, Jatikerto Village, Kromengan District, Malang Regency. The experiment used a randomized block design (RBD), with a total of 8 treatment combinations and 3 replications. The treatment consisted of I1P1: 7 Day Application Interval and Leaf Fertilizer A (leaf fertilizer); I2P1: Application Interval of 14 Days and Leaf Fertilizer A (leaf fertilizer); I3P1: 21 Day Application Interval and Leaf Fertilizer A (leaf fertilizer); I4P1: Application Interval of 28 Days and Leaf Fertilizer A (leaf fertilizer); I1P2: Application Interval of 7 Days and Leaf Fertilizer B (leaf fertilizer + 100% NAA); I2P2: Application Interval of 14 Days and Leaf Fertilizer B (leaf fertilizer + 100% NAA); I3P2: 21-Day Application Interval and B Leaf Fertilizer (leaf fertilizer + 100% NAA); I4P2: Interval of 14 Days Application and Fertilizer B (leaf fertilizer + 100% NAA). The variables observed were growth including plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits and number of flowers, plant production and soil analysis including pH, N-total, P-available, K-available, C-organic. The results showed that there was an effect of different application time intervals and types of leaf fertilizer on the number of flowers at 8 MST and the 13th harvest in large chili plants (Capsicum annum L.) on Alfisol soil. In addition, there is a correlation between the NPK content in the soil and the growth, production and fertility after the treatment is applied.
