Abstract
Food waste didefinisikan sebagai makanan yang layak untuk dikonsumsi, namun tidak dimakan karena dibiarkan hingga basi, atau dibuang oleh konsumen. Tahun 2017, berdasarkan Food Sustainability Index satu orang Indonesia membuang hingga 300 kilogram makanan setiap tahun. Dalam Undang-Undang (UU) Pangan No. 18 Tahun 2012 Pangan adalah segala sesuatu yang berasal dari sumber daya hayati dan air, baik yang diolah maupun tidak diolah yang diperuntukan sebagai makanan atau minuman bagi konsumsi manusia. Penulis mempunyai ide untuk membuat aplikasi food sharing dengan nama FoodShareApp berbasis Android karena kecenderungan penggunaan smartphone untuk beraktifitas, bahasa yang digunakan adalah bahasa java dan menggunakan Firebase real time database sebagai database. Pengembangan aplikasi Food Sharing dapat digunakan untuk tempat berbagi makanan yang masih layak kepada orang yang membutuhkan agar mengurangi jumlah sampah makanan. Secara tidak langsung berupaya untuk mengolah makanan yang masih layak dimakan agar tidak terbuang menjadi sampah sehingga bisa mengurangi food wasting. Metode Prototype digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi Food Share yang terdiri dari 2 iterasi, iterasi pertama untuk menggali kebutuhan dan iterasi kedua untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap kebutuhan iterasi pertama. Setelah pembuatan prototype tidak ada perubahan maka dilakukan implementasi, setelah sistem berhasil diimplementasikan dilakukan pengujian. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian unit, pengujian validasi dan pengujian compatibility, pengujian unit menggunakan whitebox testing, pengujian validasi menggunakan blackbox testing dan pengujian compatibility menggunakan automatic robotesting dari layanan test lab firebase. Hasil dari pengujian mendapatkan semua kebutuhan dapat berjalan dengan baik, sedangkan untuk pengujian compatibility menghasilkan 8 dari 10 perangkat bisa menjalankan aplikasi dengan baik.
English Abstract
Food waste is defined as food that is fit for consumption, but is not eaten because it is left stale, or discarded by consumers. In 2017, based on the Food Sustainability Index one Indonesia person disposes up to 300 kilograms of food every year. In the Food Law No. 18 of 2012 Food is anything that comes from biological resources and water, processed or not processed which is intended as food or drink for human consumption. The author has an idea to create a food sharing application with the name FoodShareApp because of the tendency of using smartphones for activities, the language used is the java language and uses Firebase real time database. The development of the Food Sharing App system can be used to share food that is still suitable for people who need it to reduce the amount of food waste. Indirectly strive to process foods that are still suitable to be eaten so as not to be wasted into garbage so that it can reduce food wasting. The Prototype method is used in the development of Food Sharing Application which consists of 2 iterations, the first iteration to explore application needs and the second iteration to evaluate the application needs from the first iteration. After making the prototype, there is no change, then the next step is implementation, after the system is successfully implemented then tested the system. Tests used are unit testing, validation testing and compatibility testing, unit testing using whitebox testing, validation testing using blackbox testing and compatibility testing using automatic robotesting using the lab test from firebase. The results of testing get all the needs can run well, while for compatibility testing results in 8 out of 10 devices can run applications properly.
