Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan travel motivation (push factor) pada wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara di Indonesia. Hipotesis yang diajukan terdapat perbedaan travel motivation (push factor) pada wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang bersifat komparasi. Penentuan jumlah sampel dihitung menggunakan G*Power 3.1 dengan berjumlah 134 responden, kemudian menggunakan Insidental sampling sebagai teknik sampling dalam menentukan responden. Kriteria responden dalam penelitian ini adalah Warga Negara Indonesia dan Warga Negara asing dengan rentang usia 18 keatas yang sedang atau pernah melakukan perjalanan wisata di Indonesia dalam kurung waktu 6 bulan terakhir. Instumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala travel motivation push and pull factor scale oleh Mohammad & Som (2010) yang selanjutnya akan dilakukan analisis data menggunakan teknik Independent Sample TTest. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa Pada Factor Fulfilling prestige, Seeking relaxation, Sightseeing variety, Fulfilling spiritual needs terdapat perbedaan signifikansi travel motivation (push factor) pada wisatawan domestik dan wisatawan mancanegara. pada factor Enhsncing relation, Enhancing social circle, Escaping from daily routine, Gaining knowledge tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikansi travel motivation (push factor) pada wisatawan domestik dan wisatawan mancanegara.

English Abstract

This research aims to look at the differences in travel motivation (push factor) on domestic and foreign tourists in Indonesia. The hypothesis proposed there is a difference in travel motivation (push factor) on domestic and foreign tourists in Indonesia. This type of research is comparative quantitative. Determination of the number of samples is calculated using G * Power 3.1 with a total of 134 respondents, then using incidental sampling as a sampling technique in determining respondents. Criteria for respondents in this study were Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals with an age range of 18 and above who were or had traveled in Indonesia in the past 6 months. This research instrument uses a scale of travel motivation push and pull factor scale by Mohammad & Som (2010) which will then be analyzed by using the Independent Sample T-Test technique. Statistical test results show that in the Prestige Fulfilling Factor, Seeking relaxation, Sightseeing variety, Fulfilling spiritual needs there are differences in the significance of travel motivation (push factor) for domestic and foreign tourists. on the factor of enhancing relations, enhancing social circle, escaping from daily routine, Gaining knowledge there is no difference in the significance of travel motivation (push factor) for domestic and foreign tourists
