Abstract
Keputusan yang diambil seseorang mengenai perencanaan karir sesuai dengan potensi, bakat dan minat yang dimiliki merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang berhubungan dengan masa depan seseorang. Hal tersebut penting untuk dipertimbangkan terutama saat seseorang tengah menginjak masa remaja. Pemberian bimbingan karir di sekolah merupakan salah satu layanan yang ditujukan untuk dapat meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa, sehingga diharapkan saat lulus siswa sudah mengambil keputusan untuk karirnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses layanan bimbingan karir siswa kelas XII Sekolah Berbasis Islam di Kota Malang. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga orang siswa masing-masing dua orang dari kelas IPA dan satu orang dari kelas makbi, yaitu AL, ND dan AW. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran Bimbingan Karir yang diberikan di MAN 2 Kota Malang adalah metode ceramah secara konvensional, sehingga subjek beranggapan bahwa pelajaran tersebut membosankan dan monoton. Hasil observasi dan wawancara juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa belum memahami benar bagaimana cara pengambilan keputusan karir yang tepat. Setelah dilakukan tindakan kelas berupa pemberian materi secara intentif dan berkelompok serta dengan metode mind mapping, berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi dapat diketahui bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap keputusan karir mereka menjadi semakin baik.
English Abstract
Decisions taken by a person regarding career planning according to their potential, talents and interests are one of the important aspects related to one's future. This is important to consider especially when someone is in their teens. Providing career guidance at school is one of the services aimed at being able to improve student career planning, so it is hoped that when graduating students will make decisions for their careers. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of career guidance services for XII grade students of Islamic Based Schools in Malang. The sample selection is done using the purposive sampling method. The research subjects were three students, each two from the Natural Sciences class and one from the Macbi class, namely AL, ND and AW. The results showed that the Career Guidance learning method given at MAN 2 Malang was a conventional lecture method, so the subject assumed that the lesson was boring and monotonous. The results of observations and interviews also show that students do not understand correctly how to make appropriate career decisions. After taking class action in the form of giving incentive and group material as well as with mind mapping methods, based on the results of interviews and observations it can be seen that students' understanding of their career decisions is getting better
