Abstract
Kemampuan seorang perawat yang harus dimiliki dalam memberikan pelayanan atau asuhan keperawatan adalah komunikasi terapeutik. Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengankepuasan pasienrawat inap di RumahSakit Lavalette Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakann analisiskorelasi denganpendekatan crosssectional. Sampelpenelitian ininberjumlah 60 orangpasien yang diambildengan carasimple random sampling. Penelitian inimenunjukkan terdapatada hubungan yangsignifikan antarakemampuan komunikasiterapeutik perawatdengan kepuasanpasien (p=< 0,05). Semakintinggi kemampuan komunikasi terapeutikperawat maka semakin tunggi tingkat kepuasan pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Lavalette Malang. Rekomendasipenelitian ini, sebagai referensi bagiperawat khususnyaterkait kemampuankomunikasi terapeutikperawat dalammeningkatkan kepuasan pasiendengan carasalah satunyamengadakan supervise serta pengamatan berkelanjutan untuk perawat agar mampu mempertahankan serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi terapeutik.
English Abstract
Theqabilitywof aenurse torhave in providingyservices orunursing care is therapeuticicommunication. Theupurposeiof thisstudy wasoto determinepthe relationship between therapeutic communicationpskills of nursesaand inpatient satisfaction at Lavalette Malang Hospital. The designaof this studydused analitic correlational with a crossfsectional approach. The sample of this study 60 patients were taken by randomgsampling. Thejresults of this studykindicate that therenis a significantlrelationship between therapeutic communication skills of nurses and patient satisfaction (p = < 0.05). The higher therapeutic communication skills of nurses, the patients willlbe more satisfiedzwith the nursing servicessprovided by nurses. The recommendation of this study, as an additional knowledge for nurses, specifically related to the therapeutic communication skills of nurses in improving patient satisfaction by means of conducting training and supervision for nurses related to therapeutic communication.
