Abstract
Perokok semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya khususnya pada usia remaja. Di Indonesia, penggunaan rokok elektrik semakin banyak, padahal rokok elektrik mengandung zat yang bersifat toksik yang disebut karsinogen. Peneitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan bahaya merokok dengan perilaku merokok elektrik pada remaja. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pende katan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 244 siswa yang di ambil menggunakan cluster sampling. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan responden mengenai bahaya merokok baik sebesar 53,6% dan perilaku merokok elektrik termasuk kategori ringan (53,6%). Hasil uji korelasi didapatkan p value 0,022 < 0,05, dengan korelasi 0,141 dengan arah korelasi positif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan bahaya merokok dengan prilaku merokok elektrik pada remaja di SMP Negeri 5 Kepanjen. Disarankan bagi institusi tempat penelitian agar meningkatkan edukasi terkait bahaya merokok khususnya rokok elektrik
English Abstract
Smokers is increasing every year. In Indonesia, the use of e-cigarettes is increasing, even though e-cigarettes use toxic substances called carcinogens. This study discusses the corelation between knowledge about the dangers of smoking with smoking behavior in adolescents. The design of this study used a cross sectional method with a sample of 244 students taken using cluster sampling. Research results obtained from respondents' knowledge about the dangers of smoking both by 53.6% and smoking habits included in the mild category (53.6%). The trial results obtained p value of 0.022 <0.05, with an argument of 0.141 with the direction of positive disagreement. The conclusion of this study regarding the corelation between knowledge about the dangers of smoking with smoking behavior in adolescents in SMP Negeri 5 Kepanjen. For researchers who want to learn about the dangers of smoking.
