Abstract

Pembudidaya ikan, terutama untuk ikan air tawar, merupakan kegiatan bisnis yang sedang berkembang. Hal ini disebabkan meningkatnya permintaan ikan air tawar, terutama ikan lele. Saat ini, masalah dalam pembibitan ikan lele adalah pasokan pakan murah, yang memiliki nutrisi tinggi. Biaya untuk pakan dalam bisnis pembibitan ikan adalah sekitar 60- 70% dari total biaya produksi. Salah satu alternatifnya adalah mengadvokasi bahan baku lebih murah dengan nutrisi yang tinggi seperti ampas tahu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kombinasi perlakuan terbaik dari konsentrasi ampas tahu terfermentasi dan pelet dalam menghasilkan pakan ikan berkualitas tinggi dalam hal kandungan protein, serat kasar, kadar air, bau, warna dan tekstur. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor konsentrasi ampas tahu terfermentasi dan pellet (80%: 20%, 60%: 40%, 40%: 60%, 20%: 80%) diulang 5 kali. Parameter kualitas yang dianalisis meliputi kadar protein, serat kasar, kadar air, dan uji organoleptik untuk warna, bau, dan tekstur mengunakan ANOVA satu arah diikuti oleh uji BNT (5%). hasil Pemilihan perlakuan terbaik dibandingkan dengan data eksperimen yang diperoleh standar untuk pelet ikan dalam SNI: 01-4087-2006. Hasil penelitian konsentrasi ampas tahu terfermentasi dan pellet mempengaruhi kualitas pakan ikan lele. Pakan lele terbaik dihasilkan pada perlakuan ampas tahu terfermentasi 20% dan pellet 80% dengan kadar protein 31,06%, serat kasar 3,33%, kadar air 5,218%, serta bau yang disukai , warna dan tekstur oleh penelis.

English Abstract

Fish breedings, especially for freshwater fish, are growing business activities. This was due to increasing demands of freshwater fish, particularly catfish. Nowadays, problems in catfish breeding is the supply of cheap feed, which have high nutrient. The cost for feed in fish breeding business is approximately 60-70% of the total production cost One alternative is to advocate for cheaper raw materials with high nutrition such as tofu. This study aims to obtain the best treatment combination of the concentration of fermented tofu pulp and pellets in producing high-quality fish feed in terms of protein content, crude fiber, moisture content, odor, color and texture This study used randomized block design (RBD) with one factor of concentration of fermented tofu dregs and pellet (80%:20%, 60%:40%, 40%:60%, 20%:80%) repeated 5 times. The quality parameters analysed included protein content, crude fiber, water content and organoleptic test for color, odor, and texture. One-way ANOVA followed by BNT test (5%).The selection of best treatment was carried out by comparing with experimental data obtained with the standard parameters for fish pellet in SNI: 01-4087-2006. The rresults showed the concentration of fermented tofu dregs and pellet influence the quality of catfish feed. Increasing the concentration of pellet was parallel to an increase in the feed’s protein content. The best catfish feed was resulted from treatment with addition of fermented tofu dregs 20% and pellet 80% with the quality parameters as follows: protein content of 31.06%, crude fiber of 3.33%, moisture content of 5.218%, as well as favoured odour, color and texture by the examiners
