Abstract

Desa Pujiharjo merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang berada di Kabupaten Malang. Desa Pujiharjo dilewati oleh Sungai Tundo yang bermuara di Pantai Sipelot. Meningkatnya kegiatan pada Desa Pujiharjo tentu menyebabkan naiknya beban pencemar yang masuk ke Sungai Tundo. Daya tampung beban pencemaran air merupakan kemampuan air pada suatu sumber air, untuk menerima masukan beban pencemaran tanpa mengakibatkan air tersebut menjadi cemar. Dalam menentukan daya tampung beban pencemaran suatu sungai diperlukan analisa kualitas air sungai pada masing-masing sumber pencemar. Penentuan titik sumber pencemar berdasarkan observasi pada titik masukan air yang mengalir ke Sungai Tundo berdasarkan kegiatan yang ada pada lokasi disekitar badan air. Daya tampung beban pencemaran ditentukan dengan metode neraca massa dan metode indeks pencemaran dalam menentukan status mutu air. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah grab sampling dengan titik sampling sebanyak 5 titik, yaitu pada bagian hulu, anak sungai dan hilir sungai. Parameter yang dianalisis TSS, pH, DO, COD, BOD, Nitrat dan Fosfat. Hasil perhitungan daya tampung beban pencemaran pada tiap titik untuk parameter TSS, pH DO COD dan Nitrat tidak melewati baku mutu air kelas II sedangkan parameter BOD dan Fosfat sudah melampaui baku mutu atau Sungai Tundo sudah tidak mampuvii menerima masukan berupa BOD dan Fosfat. Hasil penentuan status mutu pada tiap titik sampel menunjukan hasil bahwa Sungai Tundo berada pada kondisi tercemar ringan. Dapat dikatakan perlu adanya fasilitas pengelolaan limbah domestik khususnya pada kawasan wisata agar limbah domestik yang masuk ke badan air dapat diterima oleh Sungai Tundo.

English Abstract

Pujiharjo Village is one of the tourist villages in Malang Regency. Pujiharjo village is passed by the Tundo River which empties into Sipelot Beach. The increase in activity at Pujiharjo Village certainly causes an increase in pollutant load entering the Tundo River. The capacity of water pollution load is the ability of water in a water source, to receive input of pollution loads without causing the water to become polluted. In determining the capacity of a river's pollution load, an analysis of river water quality is required for each pollutant source. Determination of pollutant source points is based on observations at the input point of water flowing into the Tundo River based on activities that are located at locations around the water body. Pollution load capacity is determined by mass balance method and pollution index method in determining water quality status. The sampling method is grab sampling with a sampling point of 5 points, namely in the upstream, creeks and downstream of the river. Parameters analyzed for TSS, pH, DO, COD, BOD, Nitrate and Phosphate. The results of the calculation of pollution load capacity at each point for TSS parameters, DO COD pH and Nitrate did not exceed class II water quality standards while the BOD and Phosphate parameters had exceeded the quality standard or Tundo River was unable to receive inputs in the form of BOD and Phosphate. The results of determining the quality status at each sample pointix showed that Tundo River was in a mildly polluted condition. It can be said that there is a need for domestic waste management facilities especially in tourism areas so that domestic waste entering the water body can be received by the Tundo River
